The roll-out of&nbsp;Russian Sputnik V vaccine in Delhi, which had tentatively been scheduled for Friday,&nbsp;has now been delayed again.
"We do not have a clarity on the dates of the vaccine roll-out," a spokesman of Apollo Hospitals said.
Delhi's&nbsp;Indraprastha&nbsp;Apollo earlier stated it would start administering the Sputnik V vaccine tentatively by June 25.
Madhukar Rainbow Children's Hospital officials also stated that they have not received Sputnik V doses from&nbsp;the vaccine's marketing partner for the country Dr Reddy's Laboratories.
"There is a delay on the part of the suppliers. They have not shared any specific reason for it. I think it could be related to the supply of both the doses together," he said.

Panacea Biotech&nbsp;will be producing the vaccine at it's&nbsp;at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. The company however did not disclose when&nbsp;large-scale production would start and only indicated production will be raised to full extent by the summer. Panacea Biotech&nbsp;is looking at 100 million doses annually though the first batch of the COVID-19 vaccine produced at it's facilities &nbsp;will be shipped to Russia's Gamaleya Center for "quality control".The Sputnik V vaccine has been registered in 66 countries and claims 97% efficacy against coronavirus. So there is a gap of 300 million in the figures.

Just over 2% of the population has got both the shots till now and 12% people have got at least one jab.The drive to vaccinate all adults from May 1 has also fumbled due to shortage of vaccine with citizens struggling to get limited slots. States after states have complained that the vaccine makers have asked them to wait.
Serum Institute of India chief Adar Poonawalla told the Financial Times that the vaccine crunch is going to last July when he expects SII to ramp up the production to 100 million doses a day.

The first peer-reviewed results of Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials of Russia&rsquo;s coronavirus vaccine, named Sputnik-V was published in the medical journal The Lancet on Friday. In a press release Lancet has said that the results from the two 42-day trials have a &lsquo;good safety profile with no serious adverse events&rsquo;, noting the vaccine induced antibody responses in all participants. Russia was criticised when it announced the world's first approved coronavirus vaccine for public use, even before Phase 3 trials could be completed.
