Reports indicate that music-streaming service Spotify is soon going to launch its podcast subscription service. However, unlike Apple's recent podcast subscriptions, Spotify will reportedly let content creators keep 100% of their revenue. Spotify has said in the past that it will test paid subscriptions for podcasts, and allow creators to offer exclusive content to their subscribers.

Swedish music streaming service Spotify has announced a new test for all artists and labels on the platform where they can decide to promote any music that&rsquo;s important to them.
Spotify will then add that signal to its algorithm when building a radio session or when a listener enters autoplay.
But there&rsquo;s a catch.
Spotify says it&rsquo;ll be paying artists a lower &ldquo;promotional recording royalty rate&rdquo; whenever songs are played during those autoplay or radio sessions.
