Other retailers, including Amazon, Flipkart, Game Loot, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card, and Croma, have also listed the console for pre-order, but have not mentioned the date. However, the PS5 will probably go up for pre-order at the same time as ShopAtSC.

<h2>&lsquo;Spartacus&rsquo; subscription service to take on Xbox Game Pass</h2>
A report by Bloomberg indicates that Sony is readying a game subscription service to combat Microsoft&rsquo;s Xbox Game Pass. This service, known by the codename &lsquo;Spartacus&rsquo;, would combine the current PlayStation Plus subscription and PlayStation Now streaming service.
The service would reportedly encompass three tiers. The first tier would include current PlayStation Plus benefits, which includes the ability to play online multiplayer, cloud storage for game saves, and a selection of free PS4 and PS5 games each month. The second tier would include a library of PS4 and PS5 games, which users are free to download and play, much like Xbox Game Pass. The third tier would let subscribers stream games, like PlayStation Now does currently, and access a library of classic PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games.
Sony has not officially announced any plans for a subscription service yet.

Users can get recommendations based on the game being played, and gets full background playback support for music and videos.

Sony has announced in a blog post that the Apple Music app is now available for PS5. This is the first gaming console to support Apple Music, and will bring tens of thousands of curated playlists, music videos in 4K, Apple Music Radio streaming today&rsquo;s hits, classics, and country live, and personalised playlists based on a user&rsquo;s music preferences.
The PS5 offers seamless integration with the Apple Music streaming service with background music and music video playback, so players can listen before, during, or after their gameplay session.
PS5 users can either start the Apple Music app before hopping into a game, or during gameplay by pressing the PS button on the DualSense wireless controller to access the Control Center and select the Music Function card.
From there, Apple Music subscribers can find recommendations that match the game they are currently playing, or choose from a playlist in their library or other Apple Music-curated playlists for gaming.

Sony&rsquo;s official store website, Shopatsc.com, has announced that the PS5 will be available to pre-order from June 23 at 12PM. Both the disc-based console, and the disc-less Digital Edition will be available to book.
Along with the Sony website, PS5 consoles should be available across all major online and offline retailers as well.
