Delhivery Block Deal: Softbank is reportedly looking to sell some of its Delhivery shares worth $150 million today. As per Moneycontrol, SoftBank was seeking to sell about 4% stake in Delhivery via the block deal route.
Kotak Mahindra Capital has reportedly suggested for the above-mentioned transaction. Softbank entity SVF Doorbell ( Cayman) Ltd currently holds 14.46% stake in Delhivery.

In October too, Softbank had sold over Rs 1,000 crore worth shares of Zomato Ltd. Before that in August the Japanese firm had offloaded shares worth Rs 940 crore in Zomato through a block deal in August.
<h3>Delhivery's Performance</h3>
In the past six months, the stock of Delhivery has risen by nearly 15%. Delhivery's performance has been robust in Q2 despite the seasonality. Emkay Global in early November had mentioned that regaining lost wallet share during Spoton&rsquo;s integration along with yield improvement in the PTL business underpins the management&rsquo;s focus on improving profitability together with gaining market share.
"With a bulk of the network expansion investment for FY24 completed and pickup in demand imminent in Q3 (B2C monthly volume run rate up over 15% vs. Q2 average), H2 should see decent operating leverage for the company to turn EBITDA positive. Strong cash position lends support to future expansion plans while keeping any aggressive competition at bay," Emkay Global.
The brokerage has also given a buy rating on the stock with a target of Rs 490.
Meanwhile, another brokerage firm CLSA had reduced the share price target on Delhivery Ltd despite the logistics firm cutting its losses by more than half in the September quarter. The fresh CLSA target stands Rs 493 compared with Rs 550 earlier, as the brokerage reduced its sales estimates for FY24-25 by 3.2%.

SoftBank Vision Fund is likely to sell 1.17% stake it holds in Zomato for Rs 940 crore via block deal, reported CNBC TV-18. The 1.17% stake involves 10 crore shares at Rs 94 per share.&nbsp;
As per CNBC-TV18, Kotak Securities will be broker to the deal.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This comes just a day after Tiger Global's Internet Fund III Pte sold entire 1.4% stake in Zomato through open market transactions on Monday. It sold the 1.4% stake it got as a result of the Blinkit merger for $136 million.&nbsp;
The New York-based firm sold 12.35 crore shares at Rs 91.01 apiece to raise about Rs 1,124 crore. Tiger had invested $111 million in Blinkit, which represents 22% profit.&nbsp;
Earlier this month, Zomato posted its first-ever profit, helped by a tax gain and strong orders in its food and grocery delivery businesses.

Japanese conglomerate Softbank's arm SVF Doorbell (Cayman) on Wednesday divested 3.8 per cent of its stake in supply chain company Delhivery for Rs 954 crore through open market transactions.
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, City of New York Group Trust, Societe Generale, BNP Paribas Arbitrage, Morgan Stanley Mauritius, Baillie Gifford Emerging Markets Equities Fund were among the buyers of shares.
According to the block deal data available with the BSE, SVF Doorbell (Cayman) offloaded 2.80 crore shares in eight transactions, amounting to 3.8 per cent stake in the firm.
The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 340.8 each share, taking the aggregate value to Rs 954.24 crore.
Post the latest transaction, the equity shareholding of SVF Doorbell (Cayman) have reduced to 14.58 per cent from 18.42 per cent stake in the company.

GoMechanic, a car repair startup, has announced that they will be laying off around 70% of their workforce due to financial errors. The Sequoia-backed company admitted to grave errors in judgment and financial reporting, which led to the discontinuation of a funding round led by SoftBank and Khazanah Nasional.
Taking responsibility, Founder Amit Bhasin, in a post on LinkedIn, said, ''We take full responsibility for this current situation and unanimously have decided to restructure the business while we look for capital solutions. This restructuring is going to be painful and we will unfortunately need to let go of approximately 70% of the workforce."&nbsp;
Bhasin goes on to say "we made errors in judgment as we followed growth at all costs, including in regard to financial reporting, which we deeply regret."
The company has also decided to have their accounts audited by a third party.&nbsp;

According to reports, SoftBank, which currently holds around a 10% stake in Policybazaar, is looking to sell a 5% share in the company, which would be worth ₹1,000 crore. The Japanese investment firm had invested $199 million in Policybazaar, whereas it offloaded stock worth $250 million in its initial public offering (IPO) last year.
Post the sale, SoftBank will hold a 5% stake in the online insurance aggregator.
&nbsp;such as One97 Communications, the parent of digital payments giant Paytm, Delhivery, and Zomato.
PB Fintech&rsquo;s shares have fallen over 60% since its listing last year.&nbsp;

Valuation of IPO-bound OYO in the private market has dipped to around USD 6.5 billion following reports of a markdown of valuation of the hospitality and travel-tech firm by SoftBank in its private books, according to industry players.
In the week ended September 30, 2022, nearly 12.3 lakh shares of the company were sold in the private market as compared to over 1.6 lakh shares sold in the previous week.
The sell-off followed reports that its largest investor SoftBank has cut the valuation of the hospitality platform by 20 per cent to USD 2.7 billion in its books, said a source.
When OYO updated its financials in its draft prospectus last month, reporting positive EBIDTA besides the narrowing of losses, the company's share price in the private market had risen to Rs 94 per share.
However, in the subsequent days following reports of the markdown of OYO's valuation by SoftBank, the company's valuation dipped by nearly 13 per cent to Rs 81 per share, said the source.

The company attained&nbsp;unicorn status&nbsp;in April when it mopped up $300 million in a round led by SoftBank&nbsp;which valued it at $2.1 billion then from $700 million in 2019.
Meesho&nbsp;which has not had any direct competition upto this point will now face-off Flipkart's latest launch Shopsy&nbsp;which marks it's debut in the social commerce space.
