The winter session of Parliament was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the monsoon session was marked by protests by the Opposition over the Pegasus spyware issue and repeal of the farmer's law.
In the Winter session, those entering the complex and the main Parliament building will have to wear masks all the time and may have to undergo Covid test. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will sit simultaneously, the members will follow social distancing norms.
The last Parliament session was curtailed since two days ahead of its scheduled adjournment. (ANI)
