Amid the ongoing protests by farmers against the three farm laws, hundreds of people queued up infront of a tent at the Singhu Border to participate in pagdi langar&nbsp;on Saturday.
As a part of the initiative, volunteers from Punjab are tying turbans of all colours to people free of cost. They're even teaching people how to tie them.
The participants include not just Sikhs, but those who wish to show solidarity with the protesting farmers. The Pagdi stands for dignity and rights and the service, according to an ANI report citing volunteers, will continue.

Tomar, in his letter, reiterated that the government is ready to give a written assurance regarding the MSP. The letter said, some farmer groups have spread rumours and misinformation, adding that those sitting on railway tracks who stopped rations reaching our soldiers protecting our borders, can&rsquo;t be farmers.

Fearing farmer protests, security beefed up at Delhi borders

Security on the Delhi borders was beefed up on Sunday in view of the ongoing protests by farmers in&nbsp;neighbouring&nbsp;Punjab and Haryana against the three agricultural Bills.

Security on the Delhi borders was beefed up on Sunday in view of the ongoing protests by farmers in&nbsp;neighbouring&nbsp;Punjab and Haryana against the three agricultural Bills. Reports said more police have been deployed in the border areas as a precautionary measure, including at&nbsp;Singhu&nbsp;border and GT-Karnal Road.&nbsp;Precautionary measures have also been taken on Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Two companies of security forces have been deployed near Ghazipur and Ashok Nagar side to prevent the entry of farmers from western Uttar Pradesh.&nbsp;Farmers from nearby states are expected to arrive in Delhi to mark their protest, since different farmer&nbsp;organisations&nbsp;have given calls for protests over the proposed legislations.&nbsp;
