Three copies of the Granth Sahib were brought by Afghan Sikhs who were evacuated by India from Kabul and landed in Delhi on Tuesday morning.

A batch of 78 people evacuated from Kabul landed in Delhi from Dushanbe where they were flown in first from Afghanistan.
The passengers included both Indian and Afghan nationals.
India has been evacuating its nationals and also Afghan Sikhs and Hindus from Kabul after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan on August 15. Over 700 people, including some Afghan lawmakers, have been brought to Delhi as part of the evacuation mission.

Sikh MP Narendra Singh Khalsa broke down while speaking to mediapersons after he arrived in India on Sunday along with 167 others from Kabul.
The lawmaker, alongwith 23 others Afghan Sikhs, was evacuated on a special India Air Force plane that also brought back 107 Indians from Kabul.
Narendra Singh said that everything that was built in the last 20 years is now finished. "It's zero now," he said while breaking down.
The government has said that it will help Hindus and Sikhs stuck in Afghanistan of they want to leave the country.
