Siddharth Anand who enjoyed a huge success with record-breaking blockbuster, &lsquo;Pathaan,&rsquo; is all set to come up with his next project, &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo; with Hrithik Roshan. The filmmaker has applauded the actor, saying that Hrithik should direct a film himself soon.&nbsp;
In an interview with Mid-Day, Siddharth said, 'Hrithik is a complete Hindi film hero. He is an intricate performer who not only adds nuances to his role, but also encourages the actors in front of him, so that everyone shines in the film. Hrithik doesn&rsquo;t look at himself alone in a movie. He is a closet filmmaker, and he doesn&rsquo;t know it. I keep telling him that he should direct a film soon.&rsquo;&nbsp;
Siddharth also opened up on how people had started believing in the Boycott Bollywood trend before &lsquo;Pathaan.&rsquo; He said, &lsquo;some sections of the Hindi film industry and public started believing in the Boycott Bollywood trend. They lost confidence in their own films. But Pathaan was an answer to it all &mdash; don&rsquo;t find excuses, make a film with the right intentions, and people will come (to the theatres).&rsquo;&nbsp;
Hrithik was last seen in &lsquo;Vikram Vedha.&rsquo;&nbsp;
&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; will have its digital premiere on Prime Video on March 22.&nbsp;

Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; is all set to release on the OTT platform Prime Video debut on March 22, 56 days after its theatrical release. The Siddharth Anand movie may also contain some deleted scenes. A scene that explains Pathaan's origin was cut from the theatrical version, among other scenes, the director admitted.
The film backed by Yash Raj Films has become the most successful Hindi movie of all time. As it continues to play in theaters across the world, including those in the US, Canada, UAE, Egypt, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, it celebrated its 50th day on March 15. &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; has already made over 540 crores at the domestic box office.
Fans may be treated to some supplemental content with Prime Video's OTT release of 'Pathaan'. The director had hinted about the religion and history of the main character in an interview. While talking to the media, the director of Pathaan, Siddhart stated, &lsquo;The four of us, not the three of us, have this synergy: Abbas [Tyrewala], Sridhar [Ragahavan], Adi [Chopra], and I. We share the same worldview, and we all grew up watching and believing in the same movies. We agree on that. So, the fact that he doesn't have a name, and he's found in a theatre that was called Navrang&hellip; Although it was cut, you might still see this in the OTT version. None of us dismisses it or declares it to be cheesy.&rsquo;
The director also disclosed that for their special cameo scene on the train, where he had asked Salman Khan to make a reference to his 1995 film 'Karan Arjun' with<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/alia-bhatt-celebrated-her-30th-birthday-in-london-with-friends-and-family-see-pics-1678959463664"> Shah Rukh</a>. Sharing about the same, he went on to add, &lsquo;Salman was instructed to yell &lsquo;bhaag Pathaan bhaag&rsquo; and to do so in the style of &lsquo;bhaag Arjun bhaag&rsquo; (from Karan Arjun). The script didn't include it. I had to persuade Salman to participate because it was funny. It was a lot of fun.&rsquo;

The director talked about the same and shared, &lsquo;The feeling has not sunk in yet because it is such a huge one. To have directed a film that has smashed all records, that has become the number one Hindi film of all time is very daunting. I hope that I can entertain people to this level again. I will work just as hard and focus on my craft and try and keep making cinema that appeals to all audience segments like War and now Pathaan.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;, which was released on January 25, marked SRK&rsquo;s comeback to the big screen after almost four years.

In an interview with indianexpress.com, Siddharth Anand spilled beans on how his film &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; crushed Boycott Bollywood narrative. He called it unnecessary and said it irritated him. &lsquo;You want to go out, answer them that, &lsquo;Bro, come and see the film. There is nothing offensive in it.&rsquo; The fact that you can&rsquo;t do that is irritating. We knew for a fact that when the audience will come and see they will say, &lsquo;What a joke&rsquo; the narrative was. We were confident, it was just a matter of time,&rsquo; he said.
&lsquo;We wanted them also to come and see it and I am sure at some theatre somewhere they are also enjoying the film! The audience gave the answer, they spoke, they came in large numbers on the first day. They knew what they (people against the film) were trying to say was not making sense,&rsquo; he added.

Talking to Variety, Siddharth said, &lsquo;We&rsquo;ve had lots of films with big stars that have come out post-pandemic and unfortunately, some of them haven&rsquo;t worked. But the film has spoken and the film&rsquo;s intentions have spoken. And the fact that it had nothing offensive, it&rsquo;s such a patriotic film that it does inspire you.&rsquo;

For the unversed, &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; made headlines after the release of its first song &lsquo;Besharam Rang&rsquo;. A section of netizens trolled the song for its choreography, while many politicians were upset with the outfits in the song, including Deepika Padukone&rsquo;s saffron bikini.
During the first media interaction following &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; box office success, Shah Rukh Khan had touched upon the boycott calls his film faced ahead of its release, and said, &lsquo;Sabka maksad ek hi hota hai (Everyone has one motive). We should spread happiness, brotherhood, love, kindness, even when I'm playing a bad guy like [in] Darr. Even if I'm playing a Baazigar, even if John is being bad in a film. None of us are bad. We are all playing characters to make you happy. If we say things in the film, none of them are meant to hurt any sentiment or anybody. It is just entertainment.&rsquo;
&lsquo;We love each other, we joke with each other. We have fun with each other. Fun, entertainment should be left at that. Don't take it more seriously. We all are one. Large cut outs of King Khan from &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; were also seen in cities like Chennai and Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru's Cauvery theater, a fan club has made SRK T-shirts, bands, face painting, cakes, etc. Almost 1000 people gathered to watch 'Pathaan's First Day First Show.
'Pathaan' is directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.&nbsp;

Shah Rukh Khan&rsquo;s much-awaited film &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;, co-starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, is finally in theatres. Ahead of its big premiere, the film created waves at the box office as the tickets sold out fast in several parts of India, registering record advance sales for the year.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Siddharth Anand directorial sold tickets worth more than Rs 23 crore for day one, and worth Rs 13.3 crore for day two. Other days account for Rs 13.9 crore, with total pre-sales coming in at over Rs 50 crore.
&lsquo;<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/pathaan-advance-booking-shah-rukh-khan-s-film-sells-2-5-lakh-tickets-set-for-300cr-worldwide-opening-1674209666548">Pathaan</a>&rsquo;s advance sales are higher than Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff&rsquo;s 2019 film &lsquo;War&rsquo;, which was director Siddharth Anand&rsquo;s last film, and Aamir Khan&rsquo;s 2018 film &lsquo;Thugs of Hindostan&rsquo;. The Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer trails only the Hindi dubbed versions of &lsquo;Baahubali 2&rsquo; and &lsquo;KGF: Chapter 2&rsquo;. The spy thriller marks SRK&rsquo;s return to the silver screen after a span of four years and the hype around the film led to the reopening of several theatres, which were shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic. &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; is going to revive 25 small screen theatres in India, most of which are located in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. These include Jaipur's Gem Cinema and Allahabad's Rajkaran Cinema.
Mumbai's Carnival R Mall in Mulund will also be screening &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;.
The spy thriller film will be screened in premium formats from 6 am onwards in India. According to Times of India, Yash Raj Films (YRF) have decided to screen &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; in premium formats such as IMAX 2D, CGV 4DX 2D, D-BOX 2D, PVR P[XL] and CGR ICE 2D, due to the unprecedented demand from the audience.
It is a first Shah Rukh Khan film to have 6 am shows.
According to Indian Express, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the film&rsquo;s advance numbers are bringing back joy to the industry, which had a rather rough 2022 with only a few hits.
The team of &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; has NOT held grand promotional events ahead of its release, but King Khan had his own unique way of promoting the film. He frequently hosted ASK SRK sessions on Twitter.
In a statement, Siddharth Anand explained why he would not be promoting the film in full scale. He said, &lsquo;Pathaan marks Shah Rukh Khan&rsquo;s return to the movies after 4 long years. He has had very limited exposure to people in these four years and the hunger to see him is at an all-time high. It&rsquo;s palpable and that&rsquo;s what has contributed in a big way to the buzz that people are saying Pathaan has today.&rsquo;
He added, &lsquo;SRK. Just these 3 letters spell so much stardom, so much love and are just so iconic. The entire nation has loved him for so long and we are hopeful that our film will deliver on the promise to give a never-seen-before SRK to audiences. We want the euphoria around his return to reach a crescendo by January 25, the release date of Pathaan. Thus, we will start all our promotional activities only post the release of the film. We are all humbled to be receiving the unanimous love that we are getting for Pathaan so far and we can&rsquo;t thank people enough.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;, which is part of Yash Raj Films' ambitious spy universe, will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions across India.

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand&rsquo;s upcoming film &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; has been in the news for a long time. Now, as per new reports, the film has become the first Hindi movie to be shot at the frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia. Siddharth opened up about the bike chase scene shot there in a recent statement.
The director said they have taken the action in the film &lsquo;several notches above what Indian audiences have seen in theatres.&rsquo;
He stated, &lsquo;In fact, we have only shot action sequences that have never been attempted by any Indian film so far. Pathaan promises to deliver the best visual spectacle for people and we have shot a high speed bike chase sequence on the stunning frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia.&rsquo;
He further added that they brought every equipment for action sequences from Moscow, and it was a tough job as it was situated about 2000 kilometers away from where they were shooting but the production team handled everything properly.
He also said, &lsquo;We ended up shooting the most visually stunning chase sequence on frozen ice and biting cold and I hope this sequence will make people jump off their seats because we are truly very happy with how it has shaped up.&rsquo;
According to a Mid-day report, a source close to the production team said, &lsquo;The scene comes at a critical juncture in the movie, and sees Shah Rukh in a bike-chase sequence with John. After Lake Baikal was suggested for the scene by Aditya, only Sid and Casey went for the recce. On seeing the lake, they felt it served as the perfect backdrop for the action set-piece. The sequence was shot in the winter of 2021. Keeping the safety measures in mind, only seven to eight Indian technicians were present on the day of the shoot, besides Shah Rukh, John and Siddharth. A local crew from Russia was also hired.&rsquo;
