The year 2018 saw the release of Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’. The film, which starred the very versatile actor Rajkummar Rao as her co-star, went onto become a hit at the box office.
As per a report in Peeping Moon, the prequel of ‘Stree’ will feature a flashback of a girl who came to meet her and the complications which starts thereafter. The film’s leading man is yet to be finalized.
Besides ‘Stree’s prequel, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Ranbir Kapoor. Besides this, Shraddha will also be seen in ‘Chaalbaaz In London’. Rumors have it that the shooting for ‘Chaalbaaz In London’ has been postponed. The film is being directed by Pankaj Parashar.

Report: Shraddha Kapoor to star in prequel of 'Stree,' project to commence from August 2022

Producer Dinesh Vijan is reportedly planning a prequel to his 2018 film '<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/shraddha-kapoor-gets-teary-eyed-during-a-virtual-fan-meet-1646050261953" target="_blank">Stree</a>,' in which Shraddha Kapoor delivered a spine-chilling performance. As per a report in PeepingMoon, Shraddha has agreed to reprise her role in the horror-comedy sequel and the film is likely to go on floors in August this year.
Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar will reportedly be directing the film. He is known for his work in films like 'Mauli,' 'Zombivali' and Voot Select series 'The Raikeer Case'&nbsp; 'Stree' also starred Rajkummar Rao in the lead role.&nbsp;

This prequel will be a part of Vijan's horror comedy universe which includes 2021 film 'Roohi,' starring Janhvi Kapoor, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/rajkummar-rao-s-pan-card-misused-in-order-to-take-loan-in-his-name-1648907834287" target="_blank">Rajkummar Rao</a> and Varun Sharma, and his forthcoming project 'Bhediya,' starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy shooting for Luv Ranjan&rsquo;s untitled film along with Ranbir Kapoor. Besides this, Shraddha will also be seen in &lsquo;Chaalbaaz In London,&rsquo; which is being directed by Pankaj Parashar.&nbsp;
