Actor Sheezan Khan, who was arrested last year for allegedly abetting the suicide of his 'Alibaba Dastaan-E-Kabul ' co-star Tunisha Sharma, was granted bail by a Maharashtra court.&nbsp;
The court granted him bail in the case on a bail bond of ₹1 lakh and also has been asked to submit his passport, as reported by a news agency.&nbsp;
Sheezan was arrested on December 25 last year, after being accused of abetting Tunisha Sharma's suicide and has been in judicial custody ever since. Tunisha and Sheezan were reportedly in a relationship, and had broken up weeks before her alleged suicide.
Tunisha allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself on December 24, 2022, on the sets of her TV serial. Khan was arrested the very next day on a complaint lodged by Tunisha's mother.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has sent a notice to 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul' producers Alind Shrivastava and Nissar Parvez, claiming negligence on their part on the sets of the show. The notice alleged that the makers prioritised money and business over the safety of their cast and crew, saying, "The producers are only interested in earning money". This comes after 20-year-old Tunisha Sharma allegedly committed suicide on the set of her TV show.
The notice also mentioned Tunisha's death and how it sent shockwaves across the industry. "All the crew members are hired by the producers for their project and hence it is the responsibility of the producers to look after the well-being, safety and security of the crew members. FWICE strongly demands action on the producers of the show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul' as the liability of the safety, security of all the crew members depends upon them," the statement said.
Alleging negligence by the producers on the set, FWICE further said, "It is mandatory to deploy a well-equipped ambulance for the safety of the crew. However, on the sets of Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul, the ambulance was not found. Tunisha was carried in a private vehicle to the hospital where she was declared dead."

New details relating to the death case of TV actor Tunisha Sharma are emerging online. In a conversation with news agency ANI, Vanita Sharma, the mother of the late actor, has now alleged that Sheezan Khan, the main accused in the case, used to &lsquo;consume drugs&rsquo;, but she could not confirm how long he was into drugs.
Earlier, Tunisha&rsquo;s mother accused Sheezan of being in a relationship with multiple women and the police said that they will question him on this claim.
Tunisha&rsquo;s mother, her uncle Pawan Sharma and her driver were summoned by the Waliv Police to record their statements.

They also said that the actor is not cooperating with them in the investigation.
Quoting the Waliv Police, news agency ANI tweeted, &lsquo;Accused Sheezan Khan is not cooperating with the police in the investigation. 'We worked with her in the movie and we cannot believe, having known her, that she could take such a step,' he added.
He was also asked about the action taken by Tunisha's family against her ex-boyfriend, &lsquo;Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul&rsquo; co-star Sheezan Khan. He said, 'What can her family say? They are going through a tough time. It is not easy for her mother to overcome the pain and we can just pray that God gives the family strength. May her soul rest in peace.'

Actor Sheezan Khan, who was arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his &lsquo;Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul&rsquo; co-star, ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma, has repeatedly been changing his statements, news agency ANI reported.
The Waliv police told ANI that he has not yet given any clear reason why he broke up with Tunisha and has also denied allegations that he had been dating several girls while he was in a relationship with her. Sheezan also broke down during interrogation in front of a woman officer.
&lsquo;Sheezan has been in police custody for the last two days and we are continuously interrogating the accused. When the lady police officer of Waliv police station reached to interrogate the accused, he started crying. For two consecutive days, he kept on narrating different theories for breaking up with Tunisha but when a woman officer questioned him, he started crying.
Whatever inquiry is being done on the basis of the family's allegations. Sheezan has denied the existence of any other girl in his life,&rsquo; news agency ANI quoted a police official as saying.
The police also said, &lsquo;The investigation is progressing. So far, the statements of 17 people related to the case have been recorded. Sheezan is changing his statement again and again. Till now he has not given any clear reason of the breakup. The statements of all the people who were present during the suicide on the set will be recorded. Because he is an actor, he might be trying to make it look like this. There is no sadness on his face but police are probing from every angle.&rsquo;
