BJP under Opposition fire for poll sop of free Covid vaccine in Bihar

BJP's&nbsp;poll promise of giving all resident of Bihar&nbsp;free Covid-19 vaccine if they are voted to power in the upcoming elections may have been received with much elation by the common people but the Opposition has slammed the party for discrimination. Leading the Congress attack was former party president Rahul&nbsp;Gandhi who said that states would have to refer to election schedule to know when the vaccine will be available to them. Shashi&nbsp;Tharoor&nbsp;took inspiration from Netaji&nbsp;Subash&nbsp;Chandra Bose to criticise the poll sop and tweeted 'You give me votes and I will give you vaccine'. Congress ally RJD&nbsp;tweeted that using vaccine politically to sell their fear of death and disease. While AAP&nbsp;asked if the poll promise means that non-BJP&nbsp;ruled states won't get free Covid-19 vaccine. A complaint has been filed with the EC&nbsp;against BJP's&nbsp;free vaccine promise by an activist.&nbsp;

'No Data Available': Tharoor thinks govt is giving NDA a new meaning

Shashi&nbsp;Tharoor&nbsp;thinks the govt is giving the term 'NDA' a whole new meaning&nbsp;with its admissions about lack of data on migrant deaths and farmer suicides. Here's what he thinks it is.

After the govt admitted in the Parliament that it does not have data on several important subjects like number of migrant workers who died during the lockdown&nbsp;or the number of healthcare&nbsp;workers who lost their lives due to Covid-19, Congress leader Shashi&nbsp;Tharoor&nbsp;took a dig at the govt with a tweet and a cartoon.&nbsp;
Tharoor&nbsp;said that the Govt was giving a whole new meaning to the term NDA, an acronym of the ruling coalition National Democratic Alliance,&nbsp;with its admissions about lack of data on migrant deaths and farmer suicides and dubious data on Covid&nbsp;deaths and GDP.&nbsp;He added to the jibe by posting a cartoon that said NDA&nbsp;meant 'No Data Available'.&nbsp;
