<h3>Bot-It</h3>
On Friday's episode of ABC's Shark Tank, Maurice Bachelor and Joel Griffith pitched their company Bot-It to the judges. Bot-It is a website and mobile app that uses AI to help people automate online tasks like booking appointments or making restaurant reservations.&nbsp;

As per the founders a pro subscription would help people jump the line in getting any appointment or making restaurant reservations. While the question of bots making the experience bad emerged, Bachelor and Griffith said their technology actually helps individuals circumvent cheaters by getting real people in front of faceless bot armies.
"We want to help change the perception of bots amongst consumers,&rdquo; Griffith said. &ldquo;Bots aren&rsquo;t always the bad guy. You can have one, too.&rdquo;
This drew the interest of Mark Cuban and Michael Rubin.
<h3>Battle of Billionaires</h3>
This answer resonated with Rubin who said that he would disrupt himself rather have someone else to disrupt him. He further added that Arming consumers with bots could help give regular people a fighting chance to buy items at fair prices.
However, it was Cuban who first made the offer to Bachelor and Griffith, who asked for $150,000 in exchange for a 10% equity stake in their business.&nbsp;
&ldquo;With all the new AI stuff that&rsquo;s coming out, people are going to be more aware and more interested in doing these types of things if you can create the right interface,&rdquo; Cuban said, offering $150,000 for 20% equity.
Rubin immediately asked Cuban if he would take him as his partner. But Cuban rejected saying, &ldquo;I want these guys all to myself.&rdquo;
After this, Rubin promptly offered $50,000 for 15% of Bot-It, marking a higher valuation than Cuban&rsquo;s offer. This prompted another Shark Kevin O'Leary to remark &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a Shark fight. It&rsquo;s the battle of the billionaires.&rdquo;
<h3>Joint Deal</h3>
Even while the Bot-It founders received two amazing offers, they aspired for more. Bachelor and Griffith implored Cuban and Rubin to make a joint deal. The billionaires agreed, offering $300,000 for 30% of the company.
&ldquo;This is the most important day of the Bot-It life,&rdquo; Bachelor said. &ldquo;To have both of those Sharks on our team right now is going to take us to the next level.&rdquo;

‘I’m not going to talk about specific sharks but as a team we gave a lot of leeway to people in a lot of pitches last year. This year, you might see that change a little bit,’ Anupam Mittal said in an interview.

Now, in a recent interview, investor Anupam Mittal said that there is a difference between constructive criticism and insulting someone. Speaking with Film Companion, he said that some people in their team were given &lsquo;a lot of leeway&rsquo; last year.
&lsquo;I&rsquo;m not going to talk about specific sharks but as a team we gave a lot of leeway to people in a lot of pitches last year. This year, you might see that change a little bit,&rsquo; he said.
For those who haven&rsquo;t watched the show, in the previous season, during one pitch, former &lsquo;shark&rsquo; Ashneer Grover told an entrepreneur to &lsquo;make a mop&rsquo; out of the clothes she was selling because he found them &lsquo;so bad.&rsquo;
Anupam further said that a person could have a bad idea but that doesn&rsquo;t mean that they are a bad. He said, &lsquo;I think there is a difference between being critical and insulting someone. You might have a bad idea or a bad business or a terrible business plan but that doesn&rsquo;t make you a bad person. So I, and I think everybody, draws a line at criticising your business and your idea and your plan and to give you a reality check and to show you the mirror because this is Season 2.&rsquo;
He concluded saying that humiliating somebody is not acceptable and anybody who does that, does not deserve a seat on &lsquo;Shark Tank&rsquo;.
Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh and Amit Jain will be in the panel this year.

Last month, BharatPe board removed Grover from all the positions after an audit report pointed out grave governance lapses under him. The company in a notification said, "As a result of his misdeeds, Mr. Grover is no longer an employee, a founder, or a director of the company." This move came a day after Grover had resigned as the managing director and director on the company’s board.
The audit report also threw up alleged misuse of funds by Madhuri Jain, head of controls at BharatPe and wife of Ashneer Grover. Jain was fired following the review.

Bengaluru-based social commerce platform Trell has been undergoing an internal investigation for alleged party-related transactions and financial irregularities.
According to reports, an audit by EY last week found financial irregularities by the founders. This pulled the plug on funding plans, pushing the company to cut costs and lay off employees.
The probe has stalled Trell's existing $100 million funding round, for which it had been in talks with Amazon.

What they do?Founded by Arun Lodhi, Sachan, Pulkit Agrawal, and Rebba, Trell offers a mobile app that lets users make and share three-minute videos around their interests and passions, in categories such as beauty, recipes, fashion, personal care, technology and gadgets, movies and TV reviews.
It makes money through Trell Shop, a marketplace for over 600 beauty and lifestyle products from brands such as Plum, Mamaearth, Lakme, Bombay Shaving Company, and The Man Company.
