Taliban has given its first official interview after the group entered and took over the Afghan capital Kabul over a week back.&nbsp;
While speaking to Al Jazeera, Abdul Qahar Balkhi from the Taliban&rsquo;s Cultural Commission said he does not believe people think of them as terrorists. The United States, Balkhi said coined a term and used to describe those who did not fall in line with their policies.&nbsp;
Balkhi reiterated that talks are ongoing to form a government and stressed that it will be an &lsquo;inclusive system&rsquo;. The Taliban leader who revealed his face for the first time on Tuesday at the Taliban&rsquo;s first press conference said the group hopes stakeholders, both domestic and international can cooperate on common interests.&nbsp;
Balkhi thinks it is unfortunate that people are rushing to the airport to leave the country even though the group has announced a general amnesty for everyone &nbsp;
He said the developments were so fast that all people were taken by surprise and reiterated that they did not want to enter Kabul but make a joint and inclusive government first. He said they were forced to enter to take over security as the forces had left&nbsp;
Addressing concerns about the violation of rights of women under Taliban rule Balkhi said that there is no ambiguity about the right of not only the women but also that of men and children. He further said that the point of intra-Afghan talks was precisely that we come to an agreement about what those rights actually entail.&nbsp;
He stressed that the group&rsquo;s &lsquo;foremost priority is the discipline&rsquo; within their own ranks. The group plans to first impose rules on their own members so that they can set a precedent and the rest of the society can follow suit.&nbsp;

The Taliban have tried to present themselves as a more moderate force in recent years.
