SGPC held a meeting to plan events for upcoming centenary of Jaito Morcha.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee held a meeting to plan events dedicated to the first centenary of the Jaito Morcha, which will be celebrated on February 21.
SGPC General Secretary Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta said that the main event on February 21 will be held at Gurdwara Gangsar Sahib Jaito.
He said that a series of religious diwans are being conducted in different villages by the Dharma Prachar Committee to create awareness among the devotees.
Mehta added that the centenary is extremely important for the Sikh community.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has passed a resolution expressing serious concerns over Canada's allegations against India on Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Everything said by the Prime Minister in the Parliament cannot be rejected easily. The truth of the allegations made by the Prime Minister of Canada should be brought to the light of the people through a sincere approach by both countries by going beyond politics. If this case is suppressed only because of politics, it will be considered as an injustice to human rights,&rdquo; SGPC said.
The resolution condemned the alleged hate propaganda being spread against Sikhs and Punjab in the mainstream media and on social media platforms.
&ldquo;The India-Canada issue has been deliberately focused by a large part of the media only on character assassination of Sikhs,&rdquo; it said.

The makers didn’t want to worsen the situation and are taking all necessary steps to avoid any dispute.
