At least five participants from different Covid-19 vaccine trials have reported side-effects such as high fever, body aches, severe headache and fatigue, according to a CNBC&nbsp;report.&nbsp;
The five volunteers, three from Moderna's vaccine trial and two from the Pfizer trial, were interviewed by CNBC&nbsp;and deemed the discomfort to be 'worth it' for protection against the novel coronavirus.&nbsp;
The participants say the symptoms were intense but dissipated in a day or less.&nbsp;
One of the participants, a woman in her 50s, said while the first dose was 'no big deal,' you will 'need to take a day off after the second dose.'
Experts say short-term side-effects with some vaccines are common. Both Moderna&nbsp;and Pfizer have acknowledged that their vaccines can cause certain side-effects that are similar to the symptoms of mild Covid-19.&nbsp;
