To prove the tool&rsquo;s efficacy, the team tested the&nbsp;HiccAway&nbsp;with 249 volunteers and published their findings claiming a&nbsp;92 per cent efficacy in the journal Jama Network Open.&nbsp;However, experts have&nbsp;flagged the limitations of the team&rsquo;s research, which did not include a control group.&nbsp;

According to Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, 'the complicated procedure took less time than expected and appeared to go without a hitch'. The tiny probe will now begin collecting samples from the asteroid that's approximately 300 million kilometers away from earth and search for clues about the origins of the solar system.
