<p>Samsung has launched its new Galaxy F55 in India. This launch brings trendy vegan leather back to Samsung smartphones for the first time.</p>
<p>Let's take a closer look at what's inside the box and explore the F55's features.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F55 Unboxing</strong></h3>
<p>Samsung sent us the F55 in a special briefcase-type box, which echoed the phone&rsquo;s orange colour and has a slick vegan leather coating as well. They were also cool enough to attach a custom &lsquo;Editorji&rsquo; tag to this box.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, this was a part of the media unboxing experience, and consumers will not get it.</p>
<p>As for the actual retail package, the phone comes in a standard-sized box that includes the Galaxy F55 itself, a USB-C to C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and some essential paperwork. It's important to note that a charging adapter is not included.</p>
<p><strong>Samsung Galaxy F55 design</strong></p>
<p>It has the signature Samsung Galaxy design, but the soft-touch vegan leather back, along with those faux stitching strips, add a dash of personality to it. The frame of the device, however, is constructed out of plastic.</p>
<p>The orange colour of our review unit is quite striking, and it comes with light gold treatment on the frame and camera rings to make it stand out.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F55 Display</strong></h3>
<p>Samsung has put a 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the F55. It has a resolution of FHD+, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a max brightness of 1000 nits in high brightness mode.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F55 Performance</strong></h3>
<p>Powering the Galaxy F55 is Qualcomm&rsquo;s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which comes with up to 12GB of RAM for a smooth everyday experience.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The phone also offers up to 256GB of internal storage. Interestingly, there&rsquo;s also an option to expand storage through a micro SD card.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F55 Cameras</strong></h3>
<p>When it comes to optics, the Galaxy F55 has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary unit, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro lens. The main sensor has OIS, and can record videos at 4k/30fps.</p>
<p>At the front, a high-resolution 50MP sensor takes care of selfies. This sensor can also shoot video at up to 4k/30fps.</p>

<p>Keeping everything powered up on this smartphone is a standard 5,000mAh battery that supports up to 45W fast charging.&nbsp;<br>As a reminder, you will need to purchase the charging adapter separately.</p>

<p>Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy F55 5G in India on May 17.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This smartphone will be the first from Samsung to sport a vegan leather back with a textured saddle stitch pattern.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The phone will be available in two colour options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Expected Price</strong></h3>
<p>While official pricing hasn't been revealed, teasers suggest the starting price for the Galaxy F55 5G will fall under Rs 25,000 in India</p>
<p>Leaks indicate the phone will come in three storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-end option with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.</p>
<h3><strong>Galaxy F55 specifications (expected)</strong></h3>
<p>The F55 is said to echo the recently-launched Galaxy M55 in terms of specifications.</p>
<p>Under the hood, the Galaxy F55 5G is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The phone will likely boast a Full HD+ display with a centred punch-hole notch for the front-facing camera. Leaks suggest the phone will run the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.</p>
<p>The rear of the phone will likely house a triple-camera setup with a distinctive golden accent around the lenses.&nbsp;</p>
