Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, one of the most iconic pairs of Indian film industry, came together for the trailer launch of documentary series &lsquo;Angry Young Men&rsquo;. The writer duo collaborated on several hit projects before splitting up in 1982. &nbsp;
Four decades later, Javed Akhtar has hinted that he is ready to join hands with his former partner but added that the prices would be higher than before. He said that he spoke to Salim and they are going to write one more film together. &nbsp;
In their over a decade long journey, the legendary writer duo delivered more than 20 blockbusters including Andaz, Deewar, Don, Kranti and Mr India. The upcoming docu series explores their story and includes interviews with their contemporaries from the film industry, close friends, colleagues and family members. The docu series will release on August 20 on Amazon Prime Video.&nbsp;

Two days after shots were fired outside Salman Khan&rsquo;s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai, Salim Khan spoke up about the incident. Salman&rsquo;s father gave an interview to India Today after Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid the actor and his family a visit. &nbsp;
<h2>&lsquo;Salman to follow his schedule&rsquo; &nbsp;</h2>
After being assured of full security by the chief minister, the veteran writer said that there is nothing to fear. He said that his son Salman will continue with his work schedule as the family has been assured full protection. Salim Khan added that the matter is now with the police. &nbsp;
Salman&rsquo;s upset father also hit out at the people threatening his son and said that they are &lsquo;jaahil (illiterate)&rsquo;. &ldquo;What's there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you'll learn your lesson when we'll kill you)," Salim said. &nbsp;&nbsp;
<h2>2 accused held&nbsp;</h2>
2 persons identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal have been apprehended by Police in connection with the firing incident outside Salman Khan&rsquo;s residence on Sunday. The accused linked to Lawrence Bishnoi gang were arrested from Gujarat on Monday night.&nbsp;
<h2>CM Shinde met Salman Khan</h2>
On Tuesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the actor&rsquo;s residence and assured that the govt will ensure that the gang behind the incident is wiped off.
On professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in &lsquo;Tiger 3&rsquo; and Bigg Boss 17. He has recently announced his next film &lsquo;Sikandar&rsquo;. The actor will also return as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3. &nbsp;

Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with make-up artist Sshura Khan in an intimate ceremony on December 25. The wedding was attended by his son Arhaan Khan, brothers Salman and Sohail Khan, and parents Salim and Salma Khan among others.
Now, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has talked about Arbaaz&rsquo;s second marriage and said that it was his son&rsquo;s decision and he chose not to interfere with it.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Salim said, &lsquo;They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime).&rsquo;
The veteran screenwriter added that Arbaaz had no reason to discuss his decision to remarry with anybody in the family.
He said, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t think there was any need for a discussion. He is young, educated, and mature and can make his own decisions. There is no need for my permission. If he is happy, then nothing else matters.&rsquo;
&lsquo;It&rsquo;s better not to interfere in anyone&rsquo;s life as it causes problems,&rsquo; he added.
Several pictures from the wedding ceremony were shared on social media by Arbaaz Khan. He wrote, &lsquo;In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!&rsquo;
The wedding ceremony was hosted by Arbaaz&rsquo;s sister Arpita Khan and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
Besides the family, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Kapoor also joined the celebrations. Singer Harshdeep Kaur performed at the wedding ceremony.
Arbaaz&rsquo;s previous marriage
Earlier, Arbaaz Khan was married to actor-model Malaika Arora. The couple got divorced in 2017 after being married for almost 19 years.
Malaika is currently in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor.

A month after Bollywood star Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received death threats in a letter, the actor on Friday met Mumbai Commissioner of Police Vivek Pansalkar at his office in South Mumbai and reportedly sought a weapon license.

Last month, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan had received a letter threatening that the father-son duo would meet the fate of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in May.

A month after Bollywood star Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received death threats in a letter, the actor on Friday met Mumbai Commissioner of Police Vivek Pansalkar at his office in South Mumbai and reportedly sought a weapon license.
The 56-year-old actor reportedly submitted a written application to Mumbai police to seek a weapon license for his protection.
Last month, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan had received a letter threatening that the father-son duo would meet the fate of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in May. After the letter, Khan's security was enhanced after an FIR was filed at Bandra police station against an unknown person in the case. Further probe into the incident is underway.&nbsp;

Around the same time, it was reported that Salman was on the radar of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who recently confessed to the police that he had sent death threats to the actor through an aide in connection with the blackbuck posching case. Bishnoi also told the polcie during interrogation that he and his community, which regards blackbuck sacred, would 'never forgive' Salman Khan.

The chit threatening the father-son duo reportedly read: 'Moose wala jaisa kar dunga' (Will make you like Moose Wala).
As per the police, the CCTV footage in Bandstand area is being checked and locals are being questioned to find out who left the chit. 
The move comes days after popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified people in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who admitted to rivalry with Sidhu a few days back, had reportedly threatened Salman in 2018.
Bishnoi's threat was linked to 1998 black buck poaching case, in which the actor was one of the accused.
