India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is making waves on the global stage with a powerful message from Australia. His focus? Preparing India&rsquo;s workforce for a world that&rsquo;s increasingly interconnected and driven by technology.
During his address, Jaishankar highlighted that preparing for a global workplace is a top priority for India. And while it may sound simple, he stressed that the real challenge lies in preparing for a workplace we can&rsquo;t yet fully envision.
But what does he mean by that? Jaishankar pointed out that with the rapid advance of technology, demand for skilled talent is higher than ever. India isn&rsquo;t just &lsquo;exporting people&rsquo; &mdash; instead, he envisions India as a global talent pool, ready to fuel a tech-driven world.
And it&rsquo;s not just about Indian talent going abroad. Jaishankar envisions a future where Australia, New Zealand, and other nations collaborate in India. Imagine global students coming to India for skills and education just as Indians go abroad!
'If you&rsquo;re going to have a technology-driven world,&rsquo; Jaishankar says, &lsquo;you better have an education-driven world.&rsquo; He emphasizes that building a future-ready workforce means education and mobility should go hand-in-hand with technology &mdash; as one comprehensive package.
