The total subscription numbers of Ruchi&nbsp;Soya&nbsp;FPO&nbsp;fell from 360% to 260%. Retail portion withdrew more than 50% of their subscription in Ruchi&nbsp;Soya&nbsp;FPO.
The quota for Qualified Institutional Investors from 220% to 160%.&nbsp;
Interestingly, Ruchi&nbsp;Soya&nbsp;shares were up 10%, trading at Rs 888 on the NSE&nbsp;on Tuesday at the time of writing this article.

Ruchi Soya shares to be in focus as the Patanjali-owned edible oil company has announced its floor price for the upcoming follow-up public offer (FPO).
The FPO price band will be Rs 615 to 650 and is set to open from March 24 to 28. The minimum bid lot shall be 21 and in multiples of 21 equity shares thereafter. Ruchi Soya is looking to raise Rs 4,300 crore for repayment of certain borrowings, incremental working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes.

Currently, Patanjali owns 98.9% in Ruchi Soya while public shareholders own 1.1%. Post the FPO, Patanjali's shareholding in the edible oil manufacturer will reduce to 81% while public shareholding will rise to 19%.
Through the FPO, promoters of the company seek to reduce their shareholding to comply with SEBI's guidance.
