In a tweet, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri&nbsp;said that he&nbsp;reviewed the&nbsp;status of the ongoing construction&nbsp;works of Central Vista Avenue Project.
"The progress so far is satisfactory and on schedule. Citizens will get an avenue they will be proud of.",&nbsp;Puri&nbsp;added.
Further, an official in the ministry said that the Central Vista project includes large-scale stonework, construction of underpasses, underground amenities blocks and sufficient space for parking.

The suspect, 65-year-old Sukhdev Singh, belongs to Karnal in Haryana and was nabbed from Chandigarh by a Crime Branch team on the basis of technical surveillance, The Times of India reported. The police had earlier announced a reward of ₹50,000 on information leading to Singh. The main suspect, actor-activist Deep Sidhu, is still at large.
