The recently launched Realme 10 Pro+ goes on sale in India today. The smartphone&rsquo;s price starts at ₹24,999, but users can get a flat ₹1,000 discount on Realme's online store and Flipkart on select bank cards.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus is the most affordable smartphone in India with a curved AMOLED display. The device is powered by MediaTek&rsquo;s new Dimensity 1080 SoC and comes with up to 8GB of RAM.&nbsp;
The Realme 10 Pro Plus has a triple rear camera setup, led by a 108MP Samsung HM6 primary camera. The camera unit also has an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and video chats.
The Realme 10 Pro+ is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and offers 67W SuperVOOC charging, which is supposed to charge the smartphone to 100 percent in 47 minutes. In addition, the charging system promises to be capable of charging the battery from 0 to 50 percent in as little as 17 minutes.

The Realme 10 Pro Plus has a curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and costs less than ₹25,000.

The Realme 10 Pro+ smartphone has been launched in India.
The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G costs ₹24,999. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs ₹25,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs ₹27,999.
Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G runs realme UI 4.0 on Android 13 and has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+, has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.65 percent, and a peak brightness of 950 nits. TUV Rheinland claims that this display is flicker-free.
The phone is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G SoC, Mali G68 GPU, and up to 8GB of RAM. It supports UFS 2.2 storage capacities of up to 256GB.

Realme 10 Pro Plus is the top dog of the new Realme 10 series. It features a 108 MP main camera, a curved AMOLED display, and 67W of charging speed.&nbsp;
These features sound irresistible on a mid-range phone, but does the Realme 10 Pro Plus pull it off? Read on to find out!
DESIGN
When it comes to aesthetics, the Realme 10 Pro Plus punches above its weight. It is the most affordable smartphone with a curved edge AMOLED display. You also have super slim display bezels, which effectively allow this device to pass as an expensive smartphone.
The 10 Pro+ is constructed completely out of plastic which may not be appreciated by everyone. But since the front and rear panels are curved, the device still feels extremely nice in the hand. The power button and the volume rocker are also quite tactile.&nbsp;
You also get two big camera cutouts at the back, but the lower cutout actually houses two sensors. Overall, I like this implementation more than having oddly shaped camera islands at the back.
You must have already noticed this Hyperspace colourway on our review device &hellip;and let&rsquo;s just say that there is way too much going on here.&nbsp;
The top and bottom halves have different reflective patterns, and this glossy finish is a fingerprint magnet as well. I'm glad that subtler colour options are available as well. &nbsp;
UTILITY
The Realme 10 Pro+ is a 5G-enabled dual SIM smartphone. It has neither expandable storage nor a headphone jack.&nbsp;
It gets an in-display optical fingerprint reader, which in my experience worked flawlessly.&nbsp;
There are also stereo speakers on this smartphone which can get extremely loud and make up for a good content watching experience.
DISPLAY
The 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display of the Realme 10 Pro+ has a resolution of FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz.&nbsp;
The colours here are punchy, and the viewing angles are great as well. Notably, this display has a peak brightness of 950 nits, which means that its outdoor legibility is extremely good as well.&nbsp;
Realme also claims that this smartphone&rsquo;s display has hardware level low blue light, which means that it emits less blue light without any yellowing effect.
Curved displays are generally prone to false touches through your palms, but this phone&rsquo;s palm rejection worked really well, so that shouldn't be a problem.&nbsp;
You do not get Gorilla Glass protection for the display, but instead, there&rsquo;s a proprietary double-reinforced glass to protect the display on this phone.&nbsp;
PERFORMANCE &amp; SOFTWARE
The Realme 10 Pro+ is powered by MediaTek&rsquo;s new Dimensity 1080 SoC. Despite the number gap, the Dimensity 1080 is an incremental upgrade over the Dimensity 920, which we have seen in a lot of phones before.&nbsp;
So, this is a power efficient midrange chipset that does everything well as long as you know its limits. For instance, Call of Duty mobile ran at high graphics and a very high frame rate. &nbsp;
Coming to software, the 10 Pro+ runs on Realme UI 4 which is built on top of Android 13.&nbsp;
The software experience is mostly great, but there&rsquo;s a catch. Right out of the box, there are a lot of annoying options that are on by default. Once you go through the settings and turn these off, Realme UI becomes pretty clean software for the most part.&nbsp;
It does come with a lot of bloatware, but most of it can be uninstalled.&nbsp;
In my usage, the software remained lag free. I was also impressed with the RAM management of this phone, as a lot of apps remained in memory even after two days.&nbsp;
CAMERAS
The numbers game works really well in the smartphone camera market, be it the number of camera lenses or the megapixel count. Realme is banking on the latter in this case. The 10 Pro Plus has a 108MP primary sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.&nbsp;
If you do not get carried away by the megapixel count, you&rsquo;ll find a pretty competent midrange camera on this phone. Overprocessing and saturated colours are definitely the theme here, but these photos will work really well on social media. Night mode photos come out pretty good as well.&nbsp;
However, there is no OIS on this smartphone which is disappointing since the 9 Pro Plus had it. This means that you have to have a stable hand, otherwise photos will get blurry.&nbsp;
Videos from this camera do not have a lot of detail, but then again, with steady hands and decent ambient light, you can get acceptable results.
Photos from the ultrawide camera are usable as well, with decent dynamic range by secondary sensor standards. However, ultrawide videos are quite noisy, so this sensor is not the best for videos.
As for the 16MP selfie camera, it loves to overprocess your face, even with filters switched off. For instance, my lips are clearly not as pink as this camera makes them.&nbsp;
BATTERY LIFE
The 5,000mAh battery on the Realme 10 Pro Plus, combined with its 6nm chipset, makes for very good battery life in general. My screen time easily crossed 7 hours with medium to heavy usage.&nbsp;
You also get 67W fast charging with an 80W adaptor bundled inside the box. So, you can fully recharge the phone in around 50 minutes, which is really impressive.&nbsp;
VERDICT
The Realme 10 Pro+ is an all-rounder in every sense. Its display is great, and its general performance and battery life are pretty impressive as well.&nbsp;
At a starting price of ₹24,999, it is hard to find such a well-balanced smartphone, and therefore I can easily recommend the Realme 10 Pro Plus.&nbsp;
