Union Ministers Santosh Gangwar, Ramesh Pokhriyal &lsquo;Nishank&rsquo; and Debasree Chaudhuri tendered their resignations ahead of the first mega cabinet reshuffle in Prime Minister Narendra Modi&lsquo;s second term.
Nishank was Education Minister and Santosh Gangwar held the position of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour and Employment. Both have reportedly given health reasons in their resignation letters.
Union Minister Debasree Chaudhuri was also relieved just ahead of the Cabinet expansion. She served as the Minister of State for Women and Child Development. Debasree Chaudhuri won elections in 2019 from Raiganj constituency in West Bengal.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has resigned ahead of the Modi cabinet expansion.&nbsp;Union Ministers Santosh Gangwar, Ramesh Pokhriyal &lsquo;Nishank&rsquo; also&nbsp;tendered their resignations.

Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre also resigned from the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. Dhotre, who represents Akola constituency of Maharashtra also took charge as MoS for Education, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology, in May 2019.

The CBSE had earlier this month announced that the board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.

The dates for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams will be announced on December 31, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted on Saturday. "Major announcements for students and parents! I will announce the date when the exams will commence for students appearing for CBSE board exams in 2021. Stay tuned," he tweeted.
