The people who have created jobs in this country, let me name those people, because you have named them. Be it Reliance, be it Ambani, be it Adani, be it anybody, they must be worshipped,” Alphons said.

Paswan said his party had fought the Lok Sabha polls last year in alliance with the JD(U) because of the "compulsions" brought on by the return to the NDA of Kumar, whose party he accused of working against LJP candidates in the general elections in violation of the coalition dharma.
The 37-year-old, who recently lost his father Ram Vilas Paswan, the charismatic LJP founder, also alleged that Kumar had behaved "haughtily" when the late Union minister had called on him last year with the request to accompany him for filing nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha.

After chaotic scenes that resulted in the passage of three contentious farm bills, Rajya Sabha was adjourned sine dine on Wednesday. The monsoon session of the Parliament, was scheduled to go on till October 1, but was cut short in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. The current Monsoon Session was scheduled to have 18 sittings without a break from September 14 till October 1. The Lok Sabha had given its approval to the bill on September 19.
The Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2020 seeks to decriminalise various penal provisions, permit direct overseas listing of Indian corporates and introduce a new chapter related to producer organisations in the legislation.
Around 48 sections of the Companies Act, 2013 are being amended to decriminalise various offences.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman&nbsp;on Tuesday introduced the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Second Amendment) Bill 2020 in Rajya&nbsp;Sabha.
This bill will replace&nbsp;the ordinance which was promulgated on June 5 this year to prohibit the initiation of insolvency proceedings arising during the six months from March 25, 2020. The Ordinance came as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which had created uncertainty and stress for businesses for reasons beyond their control.
