As the IPL mega auction is due to be held on February 12 and 13, all 10 franchises will be looking to go all out to have a good combination of pacers and spinners. Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada may have been rested for the ODI series vs India but the fast bowler doesn't need a recent good run for the franchises to take a note of him. Rabada has been Delhi Capitals' bowling spearhead and his deadly yorkers is what makes him a nightmare for the batters. Apart from being a great powerplay performer, he is tough to hit in the death overs as well. Don't be surprised if all 10 teams bid for Rabada when his name comes up in the auction.
Avesh Khan 
Another pacer to come out of Delhi Capitals' is Avesh Khan. On the back of a brilliant 2021 season with the ball, he was also included in the India squad for both the ODI and T20 series vs the West Indies. The 25-year-old picked 24 wickets in the last edition of the IPL, which was the 2nd-most after Harshal Patel. 
Washington Sundar
Spinners are generally the ones to put a brake on the run-scoring in a T20 game and one man who does it perfectly is Washington Sundar. The off-spinner might not have been a part of the international set-up for 10 months due to injuries but he is all set to make a comeback vs the West Indies after a good show in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sundar is a very handy bowler in the powerplay overs as well and RCB has used him extensively in that role.
Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh Krishna is another bowler who has been done fairly well in recent times. His good run for KKR in the last 3 years saw him make his India debut in both ODIs and T20I. Though the tall pacer has a base price of ₹1 crore going into the mega auction, he is likely to trigger a bidding war. Talking about fast bowlers and not mentioning Trent Boult would be unjust. The New Zealand pacer was Mumbai Indians' go-to man for breakthroughs and he delivered more often than not. The 32-year-old has picked 38 wickets in the last 2 seasons combined and his economy rate has never gone over 8 in both those years. Kings XI Punjab have lodged an official complaint&nbsp;with the match referee following a controversial 'short run' call made by on-field umpire Nitin Menon&nbsp;in their game against the Delhi Capitals. Punjab CEO Satish Menon told&nbsp;PTI&nbsp;that while they understand that a human error can happen but there was no room for human errors like these in a world class tournament like the IPL. He added it's unfair as this could cost them a playoff berth. Kings XI's&nbsp;co-owner Preity Zinta had earlier lashed out at the call and tweeted to question the point of technology if it cannot be used. She even asked BCCI&nbsp;to&nbsp;introduce new rules.&nbsp;Menon, who&nbsp;became the youngest ever to be inducted in ICC&rsquo;s Elite Panel of Umpires,&nbsp;called a &lsquo;run short&rsquo; when Chris Jordan took a couple of runs off Rabada in the 19th over.&nbsp; But TV replays clearly showed that&nbsp;Jordan legally completed the first run and the bat was inside the crease. If not for the blooper, Kings XI Punjab would have won the game without it going into a super over.
