With Monday's list, the party has announced candidates for 12 of the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.

The Congress on Monday announced four more Lok Sabha candidates from Punjab, fielding PCC chief Amarinder Singh Brar (Raja Warring) from Ludhiana and party general secretary Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa from Gurdaspur.
The party has fielded former MP Vijay Inder Singla from Anandpur Sahib and Kulbir Singh Zira from Khadoor Sahib, replacing sitting MP Jasbir Singh Gill.
Congress MP from Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari has been shifted to Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency while Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu has joined the BJP.
With Monday's list, the party has announced candidates for 12 of the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
The latest names were finalised at the party's Central Election Committee meeting held on Saturday.
Punjab goes to polls on June 1, the last phase of elections.

Three former leaders of Punjab Congress, who recently quit the party, have been provided a VIP security cover of armed paramilitary commandos by the Union government, official sources said on Thursday.
Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, his mother Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary and Tejinder Singh Bittu have been given a 'Y' category security cover owing to threats ascertained to them by central intelligence agencies, they said. Karamjit Kaur and Bittu have recently joined the BJP.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been directed by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to provide the security cover, the sources said.
Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, the MLA from Phillaur, was recently suspended by the Congress for allegedly indulging in anti-party activities. He had allegedly made statements against the party's Jalandhar candidate and former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi opposing the latter's candidature from Jalandhar.
His mother Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, who had unsuccessfully contested from the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat last year, joined the BJP on April 20.
Bittu, AICC secretary in-charge of Himamchal Pradesh who is considered a close aide of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, had also joined the BJP the same day.
As part of the 'Y' category security, about four-five armed commandos will escort each of the three politicians during their travel in Punjab.

A local court in Punjab on Thursday sent Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira to a two-day police remand in connection with a 2015 drugs case, a police official said.
Khaira was produced in the court in Fazilka's Jalalabad after being arrested from Chandigarh, the official said. Police had sought a seven-day remand from the court.
Earlier, a Punjab Police team raided the Chandigarh residence of Khaira and arrested him on the basis of an investigation conducted by a special investigation team led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Swapan Sharma in the drugs case.
The SIT was formed in April 2023.

Insisting that it's not a personal battle, Sidhu said that his is a fight for principles and he won't compromise on that.
Sidhu had reportedly been unhappy with new chief minister Charajit Singh Channi's picks for his cabinet. He was reportedly upset at Rana Gurjit Singh being included in the cabinet again. Singh has been accused of a role in a sand mining scam and quit the Amarinder Singh cabinet in 2018. He was later cleared by an inquiry panel.
Lashing out at alleged tainted names in the new Cabinet, Sidhu said: "There was a system of tainted leaders, officers. Now you cannot repeat the same system".
