Suspended BJP MLA from Telangana T Raja Singh was arrested by Hyderabad police on Thursday two days after he was released on a court order. Raja Singh stirred up a controversy after making blasphemous comments on Prophet Muhammad. 
Raja’s release triggered fresh protests in Hyderabad city. Earlier in the day, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said protests in some parts of the city were a direct result of the alleged hate speech by the saffron party leader. He demanded Raja Singh’s arrest and vowed to continue the protest until he is held. 
The FIR was registered against him at the Dabeerpura Police Station under sections 153(A), 295, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code. The BJP suspended the MLA and said his remarks were against the party's line. On Thursday, Police officials said that Raja has again been arrested. More details are awaited.

Terror group, the Islamic State has claimed the responsibility for the attack on Gurdwara in Afghanistan' capital Kabul in which two people a Sikh worshipper and a Taliban member died on Saturday. On an affiliated Telegram channel, the local branch of Islamic State said the attack was in response to insults levelled at the Prophet Mohammed, an apparent reference to remarks by now-suspended BJP spokesperson Napur Sharma. Islamic State has claimed some attacks in Afghanistan in recent months.
The group said a suicide attacker stormed the temple on Saturday morning armed with a machine gun and hand grenades after killing its guard.
A temple official, Gornam Singh, had said there were around 30 people inside the building at the time.
A spokesman for Kabul’s commander said one Sikh worshipper had been killed in the attack and one Taliban fighter was killed as his forces took control of the area.

For the second day in a row, bulldozers have been put to work in Uttar Pradesh. After demolitions were undertaken in Saharanpur and Kanpur on Saturday, authorities are busy razing houses on Sunday in Prayagraj. 
The bulldozers, accompanied by a large number of police personnel, reportedly demolished the home of a politician accused of leading the violence on Friday. 
The bulldozers brought down the gates and outer walls of Javed Mohammed, a Prayagraj-based politician. 
Reports say the demolition came just hours after a notice was put up outside his residence claiming illegal construction on the ground and first floor of the property. Javed had been asked to raze the illegal construction by June 9, failing which another notice was sent to vacate the house by 11 am on June 12.
