However, a quick look back at history tells us that there are some serious concerns with this form of technology that must be addressed. Why? Because surveillance of citizenry might be a useful tool to maintain law and order. However, it can become dangerous if it impedes citizens' fundamental rights without robust levels of accountability. Beyond the issue of privacy, the efficiency of such systems should be explored to ensure that individuals are not misidentified. Cabinet clears AIIMS for poll-bound Bihar, sops for infra sector

The Union Cabinet has cleared the setting up of AIIMS in&nbsp;Bihar's Darbhanga, as the state heads into assembly polls.
The hospital will be established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, at a&nbsp;total cost of Rs 1,264 crore and is likely to be completed within a period of 48 months, according to the govt.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for seven projects in the state, related to urban infrastructure worth Rs 541 crore via video conferencing. In the petroleum sector, the prime minister inaugurated three projects worth Rs 900 crore.
Bihar goes to polls in October and November. A poll panel delegation is currently touring the state to take stock of election preparedness amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The union Cabinet on Wednesday approved Mission&nbsp;Karmayogi,&nbsp;which is&nbsp;a skill building&nbsp;programme, for civil servants.&nbsp;Union minister Prakash Javadekar said at a press briefing on the Cabinet&rsquo;s decisions&nbsp;said this&nbsp;is the biggest Human Resources Development reform in the government.&nbsp;At the top will be an HR council, chaired by the prime minister, and consisting of select Union ministers and chief ministers. It will also have eminent thought leaders noted academics, and global leaders and civil services leadership.&nbsp;Javadekar said the&nbsp;scheme is based on the government&rsquo;s vision on how a civil servant should be.&nbsp;&nbsp;
