The brother of BJP MP Paratp Simha has been arrested in connection with felling of trees worth crores. Simha is facing allegations of giving passes to Parliament intruders.

Vikram Simha, brother of BJP MP Pratap Simha, has been arrested in connection with felling of trees worth crores in Karnataka's Hassan district. He was arrested on Saturday from Bengaluru. The BJP parliamentarian, who represents Mysore-Kodagu, is the one who has been linked to the recent security breach in Lok Sabha. He is facing allegations of providing Parliament passes to the intruders who set off smoke cans inside the House on December 13.
According to media reports, as many as 126 trees worth crores were felled in Hassan and transported elsewhere. Vikram Simha was traced by forest officials through electronic surveillance.

BJP MP Pratap Simha, who issued vistors' pass to the Lok Sabha intruders, met Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday to clarify the matter.&nbsp;
According to reports, Simha told Birla that the father of one of the intruders stays in his constituency, Mysuru and had been asking him for a visitors' pass since 3 months.
Simha said that the father was constantly in touch with his personal assistant and office to get the passes.&nbsp;
