After stopping Congress,&nbsp;the Lakshadweep administration has refused to grant Left MPs from Kerala a permit to enter the union territory.

The Lakshadweep administration has refused to grant Left MPs from Kerala a permit to enter the union territory, citing Covid.
This comes days after the administration denied permission to a group of Congress MPs who wanted to visit the island.
Left MPs Elamaram Kareem, V Sivadasan, AM Arif among others had sought permission to visit Lakshadweep to have a fact check on the impact of administrative actions and reforms under the present Administrator, Praful Khoda Patel .
Lakshadweep administration has declared that in case such visits are allowed there will be "every possibility of public gathering and such gathering may lead to Covid spread in the islands".
Permission has also been denied on grounds that political activities will be against the interest of the general public as well as the security of the union territory.

The high court stayed the administrator Praful&nbsp;Khoda Patel's order to close dairy farms and to avoid non-vegetarian items including beef from the midday meals in schools.It has been clearly stated in the interim stay order of the high court that no further action should be taken on both these controversial reforms until counter-affidavit is filed.
The order was issued by the bench including the chief justice while considering a PIL filed by Lakshadweep native Ajmal Ahammed against the moves of Patel, who has served as a minister in the BJP&nbsp;government in Gujarat.&nbsp;
The high court will again considered the PIL&nbsp;next week.
