Maharashtra is set to be charged up with electric vehicles as the state has announced a new EV policy that makes electric vehicles cheaper for consumers.The Maharashtra EV Policy 2021 will provide incentives of Rs 5,000 per kilowatt-hour of battery capacity to buyers of all types of electric vehicles. The subsidy will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries within 30 days.
For those who buy EVs by 31 December this year, there will be an additional &lsquo;early bird discount&rsquo; of Rs 5,000 per kilowatt-hour.

Online insurance agent Policybazaar&nbsp;is planning to go public through an IPO which could come by the year-end. The Softbank-backed unicorn may file its draft prospectus as soon as next month. As&nbsp;per a Bloomberg&nbsp;report, the insurance aggregator&nbsp;may raise about $500 million through the expected public offering which could value Policybazaar&nbsp;at over $3.5 billion.&nbsp;The portal hosts more than 100 million visitors a year and sells 400,000 insurance policies each month, according to its website.&nbsp;
