Google has reportedly rolled out the May Android update for supported Pixel smartphone devices. The update is rolling out to devices from the Pixel 3 and onwards, and includes only security fixes this time. The last Google Pixel device to be launched in India was the Pixel 4a in October 2020, with a Snapdragon 730 chipset, a 12.2MP rear camera and a price tag of ₹29,999.

The update is rolling out to the Pixel 3 and newer devices, including the latest Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 smartphones. To recall, Google launched the Pixel 4a in India in October last year, with a 5.81-inch OLED display, 6GB RAM, a Snapdragon 730G chipset, and a launch price of ₹29,999.

Google&rsquo;s latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 5, comes with reverse wireless charging capabilities, called &lsquo;Battery Share&rsquo;.
This feature has been cleverly implemented to automatically activate reverse charging whenever you plug in a USB-C cable.
According to Google&rsquo;s support page, the Battery Share also deactivates by itself if it doesn&rsquo;t sense another Qi-compatible device using its power within 30 seconds.

Google has an event scheduled for September 30, where the company is expected to launch the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. Both the Pixel phones are tipped to have the same Snapdragon 765G chipset and a 12.2MP dual camera setup, but the Pixel 4a 5G will be cheaper than Google&rsquo;s upcoming flagship.
According to a WinFuture report, the Pixel 4a 5G may feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display as opposed to a 6-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz display on the Pixel 5. And although both the phones will probably have the same 18W fast charging, the Pixel 5 is tipped to have a larger 4,000 mAh battery.
While Google has previously confirmed that the Pixel 4a 5G will be available for &euro;499, reports say the Pixel 5 may cost &euro;629 in Europe.
