Reports indicate the online pharma&nbsp;giant is looking at raising a billion dollars via an IPO&nbsp;soon.&nbsp; Sources have told The Mint that&nbsp;Online drugstore PharmEasy&nbsp;is seeking valuation similar to Zomato at around $9 billion.API Holdings, the parent company raised about $420 million in June funding round valuing the company at about $4.1 billion.

PharmEasy will pick up stake in Thyrocare at ₹1,300 per share, valuing the deal at ₹4,546 crore. The transaction is subject to regulatory and other applicable customary approvals. 
The PharmEasy-Thyrocare deal comes at a time when the online pharmacy sector is witnessing a boom. PharmEasy in a statement said, the collaboration is unique and transformative for the Indian healthcare sector, consumers and the entire healthcare ecosystem.
The statement added that the synergies of both, India&rsquo;s largest digital health platform and one of the largest, cost-effective diagnostics solution providers will accelerate the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and OPD services to nearly 800mn Indians.
