A social media post of a passenger is going viral on the internet, where the man shared his ordeal of travelling on his first pet-inclusive flight

A pet-inclusive flight turned into a nightmare for a passenger. A man named Lakshya Pathak shared his ordeal on LinkedIn, where he said that the Akasa Air flight was his first pet-inclusive air travel. He was flying from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru on January 26 with his wife and their pet dog.&nbsp;
Lakshya said that he paid ₹5,000 for a pet ticket. In the social media post, Lakshya said, "The flight that was intended to leave at 10:20 pm left at 1:40 AM. It being our first time with pet travel we reached the airport 3 hrs in advance. So a delay of more than 3 hrs and we have already spent over 6 hrs in the airport. The attitude of the Ground staff and CISF could not have been less helpful. Your staff had no clue about how to handle pet-related queries."
He also claimed that "the pet is not even allowed to stand on the airport floor or breathe properly in the flight then what is the Pet Ticket for? The torture that was provided?"
Moreover, Lakshya said that the flight crew was unprofessional and that he had to forcefully shove his crying pet&rsquo;s head inside the container multiple times through out the flight.&nbsp;
As the post went viral, Akasa Air reacted to the post and wrote, "Hi Lakshya, we've taken this up with our team, and they will connect with you soon. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you."
Internet users also reacted to the post by calling Lakshya's experience 'disheartening.' Others reacted by saying that airlines in India are not well equipped to handle passengers properly let alone a pet.

Tamil Nadu: elderly man killed for allegedly calling neighbour's pet dog a 'dog'

The police have registered a case and issued a lookout notice for the accused.

A 65-year-old man got killed for allegedly calling a neighbour's pet dogs 'dogs' during a fight, according to the India Today report.
The elderly man, identified as Rayappan whose neighbours were also his relatives Daniel and Vincent had pointed out the canine's aggressive behaviour towards people passing by. However, Daniel and Vincent paid no heed to the complaints.
On January 19, Rayappan reportedly took a stick in a bid to attack the barking dogs during a quarrel with his relatives. This is when Rayappan was pushed by Daniel and Vincent. Rayappan fell unconscious and died.
The police have registered a case and issued a lookout notice for the accused.

Kerala: Youth beats to death his cousin over delay in feeding pet dog

21-year-old beaten to death by cousin over delay in feeding latter's pet dog 

"We were informed by the hospital authorities about the incident. They said the victim was brought dead," police told PTI.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly beating to death his cousin for an apparent delay in feeding the former's pet dog, police said.
Hakeem was arrested for beating to death his cousin 21-year-old Arshad, police said, adding that the incident happened on Thursday night.
"We were informed by the hospital authorities about the incident. They said the victim was brought dead," police told PTI.
Hakeem was arrested on Saturday and remanded in judicial custody.

Upon preliminary investigation, they found that Hakeem used to assault Arshad occasionally. "Hakeem had a business here, and Arshad was also working along with him. They both were staying together. We understand that he used to assault Arshad earlier also. However, this time it became fatal," police said.
They said Hakeem started beating him for feeding his dog too late. Arshad was assaulted using the dog's belt and some sticks, police further said.
Even though there were numerous injury marks on Arshad's body, Hakeem initially told the hospital authorities that his cousin fell from the roof of the house. However, the hospital informed the police on the death.
