Opposition parties MPs including TMC MP Mahua Moitra and BSP MP Danish Ali, walked out from the Parliament Ethics Committee meeting.
TMC MP Mahua Moitra appeared before the Parliament Ethics Committee in connection with the 'cash for query' charge against her.
Janata Dal (United) MP Giridhari Yadav said, "They asked personal questions to the woman (TMC MP Mahua Moitra). They do not have the right to ask personal questions, so we walked out."
Congress MP Uttam Kumar Reddy said, "The whole line of questions it seems that he's (Parliament Ethics Committee Chairman) acting on somebody's behest. It is very, very bad. For two days we have been asking him some things...They are asking her (Mahua Moitra) where are you travelling? Where are you meeting? Can you give us your phone records? There is no evidence of any cash transfer."

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor-led Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology has conveyed a strict message to Facebook that the company representatives will have to be physically present in front of the panel notwithstanding what Facebook's company policies say, news agency ANI reported. This comes a day after the panel met&nbsp;Twitter representatives&nbsp;and reminded them that the microblogging platform has to abide by the laws of the country.Facebook informed the parliamentary panel that they could attend an online meeting, which the panel jas rejected. The date of the meeting has not been finalised yet. The panel has said that it will give the members enough time to complete their vaccination, but the meeting will be held in person.
