Kolkata: Durga Puja Pandal honours Sonu Sood, showcases migrant crisis

A Durga&nbsp;Puja&nbsp;Pandal in Kolkata&nbsp;installed a life-sized statue of actor Sonu&nbsp;Sood&nbsp;to honour his contributions amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It also shed light on the state of migrants during the lockdown.

Durga Puja committees this year have weaved pandals around different themes related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To honour the contributions made by actor Sonu Sood amid the Covid-19 outbreak, a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata has installed a huge statue of the actor.
SonuSood turned hero for many, literally so, when he came forward to help migrants reach their respective homes amid the Covid induced lockdown. That's not all- he even helped stranded students and created job opportunities for them .
The pandal by Keshtopur Prafulla Kanan Durga Puja committee shed light on the hardships of the migrants and recreated&nbsp;their pitiable state during the pandemic induced lockdown.
