Panasonic has launched the Toughbook S1, a rugged Android tablet aimed at use in logistics, transportation, retail, and field service markets, in the US. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, and features a 7-inch WXGA IPS display. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to another 64GB. There&rsquo;s a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Panasonic has packed in a 3,200mAh battery. The tablet includes an integrated bar code reader, and an optional USB Type-A port. It is military grade certified for toughness, and features either IP65 or IP67 dust and water resistance. The Pansonic Toughbook S1 costs around ₹1.82 lakh in the US.

Panasonic has launched its Lumix BGH1 single lens mirrorless camera in India. The Micro Four Thirds camera uses a Live MOS 10.2 megapixel sensor, and can record up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. There's dual native ISO and 13 stops of dynamic range. Panasonic claims the modular camera can shoot 4K 60 fps continuously for around 270 minutes, and that the BGH1 is the first Micro Four Thirds camera to be approved by Netflix as a primary camera for shooting Netflix Originals.
