The shooting for Vivek Agnihotri&rsquo;s next &lsquo;The Vaccine War&rsquo;, which stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, and Pallavi Joshi in key roles, has been going on in Hyderabad. On Monday, it was reported that actor Pallavi Joshi suffered an injury on the sets.

Bollywood Filmmaker-Actor Prakash Jha is busy promoting his forthcoming film ‘Matto Ki Saikil’ which is all set to release in theatres on Sept 16. In an exclusive interview the Cinestaan. He talked about the boycott calls and movies witnessing tragic fate at the box office. 
Talking about ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ at the promotion of the film, he said, ‘It is being said that Aamir Khan’s film was boycotted on social media. If he had made Dangal (2016) or Lagaan (2001) and then the film hadn’t done well, then we would have understood that it happened because of the boycott. But you have made such a film that majority of those who have seen it aren’t praising it.’ 
When asked about the sorry state of films in theatres, He said, ‘They should understand that they are making bakwas . A film can’t be made only through money, corporates and paying a high amount to the actors. For that one needs to write a good story that makes you understand, shakes you up and entertains’ 
‘They should make stories that are rooted. People from the Hindi industry are speaking in Hindi but what are they making? They are just churning out remakes. If you don’t have a story to tell, stop making films. They should work hard and think original as people have become lethargic.’ He concluded. 
Apart from filmmaker Prakash Jha, Actor Pallavi Joshi also opens up about the same issue, In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, she said, ‘People should also realise introspection is important. I feel if such a huge movement is taking place in the country, there is a need for introspection for everyone. The audience is our everything and we are nothing without them. So, let’s try and remember this and give them what they want. Give them the stories they are dying to see and see how they flock the theatres again.’

But the film industry won’t be put under a lock and key. That’s a very Utopian thought. It hasn’t happened and will never happen.' She added, 'To actually say that think about those 250 people who work on our films and what about their livelihood is a wrong argument. They have already been paid. After the release, it’s only the producer, the distributor, and the exhibitor that get stuck.
