Businessman Navneet Kalra, accused in a oxygen concentrator black marketing case, committed a white-collar crime and earned profits by selling medical devices at exorbitant prices to those on death beds, the Delhi Police told a court on Saturday.
During a recent raid, 524 oxygen concentrators were recovered from Kalra&rsquo;s restaurants.
Kalra was arrested on May 17 and is in judicial custody till June 3.
His intention was to cheat people and make profit, Delhi Police told the court and sought rejection of Kalra's bail plea.
Delhi Police&rsquo;s remarks &nbsp;come a day after Kalra said he cannot be kept in pre-trial detention.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said his government has imported 6,000 oxygen cylinders from China which will be stored at three depots and used in case of a third wave of coronavirus.&nbsp; &nbsp; He said around 6,000 oxygen cylinders have been airlifted from China, of which we have received 4,400.The chief minister thanked the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Beijing for the assistance in importing the oxygen cylinders.
Kejriwal also said the second wave is waning gradually and the city government has started preparations for a possible third wave.
