The Uttar Pradesh forest department has issued a notice for the demolition of Pinki Sonkar's house in Mirzapur district, India Today reported.
Pinki rose to fame with the 2008 Oscar-winning documentary 'Smile Pinki', which was based on her life.
Apart from the Pinki, over 30 people living in her village have been served demolition notices, as the forest officials have described their houses as 'illegal possessions'.
The villagers who received the notice said that the land was offered to them by the forest department officials when Pinki Sonkar's documentary won an Oscar award, the report said.&nbsp;
According to Pinki and her father, Rajendra Sonkar, the villagers were not told that the land belonged to the forest department when the houses were being constructed.

However, the writer added that he is still hopeful. ` I am hopeful to get at least a couple of nominations at the Oscars,` he smilingly said. The film is eligible for contention in some categories such as Best Director, Best Composer, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor, and others.
SS Rajamouli also opened up about the sequel of `RRR` and said, ` Yes, we are thinking of making RRR 2. My son wants me to write a sequel. It will be again a fiction story with the same characters played by the two (Jr. NTR and Ram Charan).`
'RRR' writer Vijendra Prasad said that his son, SS Rajamouli&rsquo;s dream to make `Mahabharata` will take some time. `Mahabharata will take some time, whereas I have written a draft of Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. It&rsquo;s in Salman Bhai now on when to start the film,` he said. &nbsp;
SS Rajamouli had earlier said at an event in Chicago, `I would absolutely love to (do a sequel). I can&rsquo;t reveal many details about it but my father, who has been a screenwriter for all my films including RRR&hellip;We discussed a bit about it, and he is working on the story.`
