Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, Osama bin Laden&rsquo;s 2002 letter to America has gone viral on the internet. Several social media users shared videos in support of that and have praised the content of the letter.&nbsp;
In the letter, Osama bin Laden justified the attacks against Americans. The letter also criticised the US for lending support to Israel and the oppression of Palestinians. Other than this, the letter also mentioned that America should stop their oppression, lies and immorality.&nbsp;
Now, social media users are discussing this letter after 20 years and they are saying that they are in full support of it. Numerous videos supporting this letter was shared on TikTok, which has been banned in India since 2020.&nbsp;
Amid this, TikTok said that content promoting this letter violates their rules on supporting any form of terrorism. It is also worth noting that this letter was first shared by the Guardian newspaper. However, it was pulled out by them on November 15, 2023.&nbsp;
The Guardian shared a message on their website, in which it was mentioned, &ldquo;This page previously displayed a document containing, in translation, the full text of Osama bin Laden&rsquo;s &ldquo;letter to the American people&rdquo;, as reported in the Observer on Sunday 24 November 2002.&rdquo;
It was further mentioned that the letter to America was published on their website on the same day. However, it was removed on 15 November 2023.
The Guardian did not mention any reason why they pulled out the letter but this has come right after the videos about it started doing rounds on the internet.&nbsp;

A former US soldier, who claims to have killed Osama bin Laden, was arrested recently for allegedly attacking and racially abusing a hotel security guard.
The incident occurred when Robert O'Neill, a former Navy SEAL, was found asleep at a hotel bar in USA's Texas on August 23.
A security guard offered to help O'Neill to his room. When they reached his room, O'Neill allegedly turned violent, used racial slurs against the guard, and also physically hit him.
The former special operations soldier was arrested and later released on bond.
He denied the allegations and said that the charge of using racial slurs is preposterous.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the credibility of the UN depends on its effective response to the key challenges of our times, be it pandemics, climate change, conflicts or terrorism.

India strongly hit back at Pakistan on Wednesday after it raised the Kashmir issue in the UN Security Council, asserting that a country that hosted slain al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and attacked a neighbouring Parliament does not have the credentials to &ldquo;sermonize" in the power UN organ.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the credibility of the UN depends on its effective response to the key challenges of our times, be it pandemics, climate change, conflicts or terrorism.
&ldquo;We are obviously focused today on the urgency of reforming multilateralism. We will naturally have our particular views, but there is a growing convergence at least that this cannot be delayed any further,&rdquo; said Jaishankar, who is chairing India&rsquo;s signature event on reformed multilateralism.
&ldquo;While we search for the best solutions, what our discourse must never accept is the normalisation of such threats. The question of justifying what the world regards as unacceptable should not even arise. That certainly applies to state sponsorship of cross-border terrorism. Nor can hosting Osama bin Laden and attacking a neighbouring Parliament serve as credentials to sermonize before this Council,&rdquo; he said.

Jaishankar arrived at the United Nations, Tuesday to preside over two signature events on counter-terrorism and reformed multilateralism being held under India&rsquo;s current Presidency of the UN Security Council, before the curtains come down this month on the country&rsquo;s two-year tenure as an elected member of the powerful 15-nation.
His strong remarks came after Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto raised the Kashmir issue while speaking in the Council debate on reformed multilateralism.
