The OnePlus 11 has been launched in India, priced starting at ₹56,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It sports a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and a 32MP telephoto sensor. The camera is tuned in partnership with Hasselblad, and includes a special Portrait Mode and X-Pan mode. The OnePlus 11 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM. On the front, there’s a 6.7-inch 1440p 120Hz AMOLED display with LTPO technology and Gorilla Glass Victus. The OnePlus 11 also comes with UFS 4.0 storage, stereo speakers, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. On the software front, there’s OxygenOS based on Android 13, with 4 major Android updates promised. The OnePlus 11 is the brand's latest attempt at reconnecting with its roots--flagship specs, at an affordable price point.

The OnePlus 11 is the brand's latest attempt to re-capture its past glory, when it was the go-to brand for flagship killers. A lot has already been said about this phone and if you&rsquo;ve stumbled upon this review, chances are you&rsquo;ve already seen enough commentary about this device. But having spent a few weeks with the OnePlus 11, I think there&rsquo;s some things you should know that perhaps other reviewers haven&rsquo;t said much about. So, without wasting any more time, let&rsquo;s get into it&mdash;the OnePlus 11.
So let&rsquo;s start with what&rsquo;s new on the OnePlus 11.
You get the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, you get faster 100W wired charging, and you get a whole new set of cameras.
What&rsquo;s also new is the price tag&mdash;at ₹56,999 for the base model, the OnePlus 11 offers incredible value for money, second only to it&rsquo;s own sibling, the OnePlus 11R.
So is this OnePlus returning to its roots? Making flagship killers? Well, not quite.
Let me demonstrate:
You have the latest WiFi 7 standard, but no wireless charging.
You have ultra-fast UFS 4.0 storage, but only a USB 2.0 port.
You have a 100W charging adapter in the box, but with a Type-A port instead of Type-C.
You have Gorilla Glass Victus for the screen, but only an IP64 rating.
Now none of these are deal-breakers, in fact, most people won&rsquo;t even notice these omissions, much less criticise them, but I think it&rsquo;s important to note that these are features OnePlus has offered previously.
Anyway, let&rsquo;s get into how all these new features perform.
Let&rsquo;s begin with the cameras, because let&rsquo;s face it, they&rsquo;re one of the main things that guides our buying decisions when getting a new phone.
The OnePlus 11 has a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. This is one of the first times OnePlus has offered all three sensors with such high resolutions, and I have to say, it&rsquo;s paid off.
In day-to-day scenarios, pictures come out well in nearly all situations. HDR is well balanced, colours are punchy but not over-saturated, and contrast levels are typically OnePlus. Even in mixed lighting conditions, there&rsquo;s a good amount of sharpness and clarity, and colours are largely true-to-life. In low-light conditions, images do tend lose a little sharpness, but they retain a surprising amount of colour and dynamic range.
When it comes to the ultra-wide, there&rsquo;s a lot less difference in images between this and the main sensor than you&rsquo;d imagine. Colour science between the too isn&rsquo;t very far apart, and thanks to the high-res sensor, ultra-wide shots have a good amount of detail. Sure, in low-light shots, it struggles to keep up with the main sensor, but I still think it does a good enough job.
The telephoto sensor takes good pictures, but the phone often switches to the main sensor, especially when trying to get a close-up shot. This may be due to better stability and focus on the main sensor, but I wish there was a way to override this.
Anyway, like I said, pictures from this sensor are great, with good sharpness, detail and colour accuracy.You do get OnePlus&rsquo; new Hasselblad Portrait with this sensor, but I&rsquo;ll be honest, I didn&rsquo;t seem to find it incredibly useful. Portrait pictures are still good, with strong edge detection and ample depth of field, but they still don&rsquo;t look as natural as Samsung manages to do with its S23 series of devices.
However, one Hasselblad feature that never disappoints is the underrated X-Pan mode. It's super-wide format and moody look make everyday frames look cinematic, particularly in black-and-white. It's also good in colour mode, but a film look for the colour mode would be a great addition.
Now let&rsquo;s turn to video, because this is a bit of a mixed bag. So you can record at up to 8K at 24fps which is great, even though it&rsquo;s not incredibly useful, and 4K videos can be shot at 60fps, with optical image stabilisation. However, there&rsquo;s no 4K 60FPS option for the ultra-wide sensor, the highest it&rsquo;ll go is 4K at 30FPS.
Anyway, video quality is quite nice&mdash;colour processing is mostly accurate, there&rsquo;s not a lot of white-balance shift, and stabilisation is also pretty smooth for the most part. I will say this though, I ended up using the Film feature to take most of my video samples, purely because of how much manual control it gave me, and the fact that it gave all my footage this really nice look. Contrast was punchier, colours were more vivid, and sure, in some cases there was visible noise, but if you&rsquo;re trying to get some nice cinematic shots straight from the phone itself, the Film feature is incredibly useful.
Okay, enough about the rear cameras, let&rsquo;s talk about the front camera. It&rsquo;s a 16MP sensor, that takes good enough pictures in both outdoor and indoor settings, and the edge detection in portrait images is decent. Skin colours aren&rsquo;t the most accurate, and images do tend to lack a bit in the sharpness department, but overall, the front camera produces respectable results. I do wish that a phone at this price point and with otherwise incredibly strong hardware had the ability to record 4K videos with the front camera, but it doesn&rsquo;t.
Now like I mentioned earlier, the OnePlus 11 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is arguably the best chipset on the market for Android devices. We&rsquo;ve seen it perform brilliantly on Samsung&rsquo;s S23 Ultra, but unfortunately, it seems as though it hasn&rsquo;t been optimised as well on the OnePlus 11, at least when it comes to benchmarks.
For instance, on 3D Mark&rsquo;s Wildlife Extreme Stress test, the OnePlus 11 achieved only 42.1% stability, and on a second run, it was even lower, at 37.7%. In a 15-minute CPU Throttle test, the phone throttled to 80% of peak performance almost immediately, and never really recovered.
I will say this: all of these are benchmark scores, which don&rsquo;t tell the full picture of how a phone performs in day to day life. For example, if you don&rsquo;t play something as demanding as Genshin Impact for hours on end, you&rsquo;ll be absolutely fine. I ran Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG New State on this phone for a while, and there were no issues with performance, even at the highest graphic settings possible.
The phone did get a bit warm to the touch when gaming for a while or when shooting a lot of videos, but nowhere enough for me to worry about it overheating.
Okay, let&rsquo;s move on to battery performance and charging. The battery capacity remains unchanged at 5,000 mAh, which is the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro. However, the charging is now 100W with the included charging adapter. I&rsquo;m somewhat surprised that it&rsquo;s not 150W like we had on the 10T and 10R, but I&rsquo;m guessing some sacrifices had to be made to reach a competitive price point. It still went from flat to full in like 30-35 minutes, so it&rsquo;s definitely not slow, but it&rsquo;s certainly not the fastest charging we&rsquo;ve seen from OnePlus.
Anyway, that larger battery spells great things for battery life, and even with the &nbsp;gorgeous 1440p 120Hz LTPO display that this phone has, it easily gave me a day&rsquo;s worth of moderate usage. If you&rsquo;re a particularly heavy user, I would suggest lowering the screen resolution to 1080p, which should even get you through two days if you&rsquo;re frugal.
On the software front, things are mostly the same as before. Despite the ColorOS takeover of OxygenOS, it&rsquo;s still one of my favourite Android skins. Moreover, it's great to see that OnePlus has stepped up by offering 4 years of major OS updates and 5 years of security updates, matching Samsung's commitment. Stereo speakers are also still here, as is the fingerprint scanner, and both work as well as they did before.
So that, folks, is the OnePlus 11. A bittersweet mix of functional performance, and necessary sacrifices. I still think that for the money, this is possibly as good as it gets&mdash;a fantastic display, solid cameras, great battery life and reliable performance, what more can one ask for? At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, I&rsquo;m going to say that the old OnePlus is back. Maybe not exactly how we remember it, but it is back.

The Active CryoFlux is essentially a miniature version of a closed-loop liquid cooling system found on desktop PCs. It consists of a micropump that circulates fluid through a series of tubes between the upper and lower diaphragms, acting as a heat sink and radiator. The fluid absorbs heat from the processor and releases it slowly back to the pump.
OnePlus claims that their state-of-the-art Active CryoFlux technology has the ability to lower temperatures by an impressive 2.1&deg;C, leading to a 3-4 FPS enhancement during gameplay. Additionally, it can reduce temperatures by 1.6&deg;C while charging, resulting in a 30-45 second reduction in overall charging time.

OnePlus just held its first event of the year, revealing the new OnePlus 11 5G, 11R 5G, and its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. Additionally, the company revealed three more products: the Buds Pro 2 earbuds, the Keyboard 81 Pro, and the TV 65 Q2 Pro.
The Buds Pro 2 features a dual-driver system, 48db noise cancellation, quick charging, Google Spatial audio, and multi-device pairing. They are available in three colours and two models The standard Buds Pro 2 costs ₹11,999 and the Pro 2R variant without Spatial Audio and wireless charging retails for ₹9,999. Pre-booking starts February 14.
The Keyboard 81 Pro made its debut in the mechanical keyboard market, features an aluminum frame and RGB lights. It's compatible with both Mac and Windows. No pricing details were announced at the event, but it will be available in April.
The 65&rsquo;&rsquo; Q2 Pro is the new flagship TV from OnePlus with a 4K display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits of brightness with 120 local dimming zones. OnePlus 9RT Review: pretty much as good as it gets!

With top-shelf hardware for less than ₹50,000, is the OnePlus 9RT the king of the segment?

If you're looking for a phone with a flagship chipset, a strong set of cameras and every other top-notch spec in the book, then there's good news for you--you don't have to settle because this is the OnePlus 9RT, and I'm going to tell you why I think it's the best phone for less than ₹50,000.
<h3>Design</h3>
Now I'm going to start with the design because I honestly believe OnePlus has nailed the look of the 9RT. In this Hacker Black colour variant, it looks super stealthy, almost like something you'd see James Bond carrying around. The back is finished in matte which means there's no fingerprints or smudges on it, but it does make the phone quite slippery. It's a shame that I had to hide that beautiful design and use it with the included phone cover during my usage, and I think a little more texture on the back would have helped with grip while still retaining the look.
In terms of weight, the 9RT is just shy of 200g, making it feel just right in the hand for me at least. I like phones with a bit of heft, it feels like I'm using a real phone and not a dummy unit, but if you want something lighter then you may want to look elsewhere. The 9RT is also pretty slim at 8.2mm, especially since it packs in so much flagship hardware.
<h3>Display</h3>
The 9RT's display is fantastic, it's an E4 AMOLED panel, around 6.6-inch diagonally, and comes with an FHD+ resolution. Colours are vibrant and punchy, and the screen gets quite bright at maximum brightness as well. Watching content on this screen is a great experience, and the corner hole-punch is small enough to stay out of the way.
Now, while it does support a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz, the 9RT display doesn't come with LTPO technology like the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/oneplus-9-pro-review-the-best-just-got-better-1617356967173" target="_blank">OnePlus 9 Pro</a>. LTPO tech lets the screen lower its refresh rate to below the standard 60Hz, and go up to 120Hz only when required for certain tasks, which helps when it comes to battery life. It's not a deal-breaker, but it is something I hope OnePlus brings to this price segment down the line.
This display also gets Hyper Touch 2.0, which enables faster touch sampling during gaming sessions. It's also worth noting that the 9RT gets HDR 10 - HEVC support for Netflix. Supporting HDR isn't out of the ordinary for a phone at this price point, but it's good to see that there's support for HDR content on Netflix specifically, which some other phones do miss out on.
<h3>Rear Cameras</h3>
The rear cameras on the 9RT are quite impressive, especially since it doesn't get any of the Hasselblad branding like the 9 series. It's a triple camera system, with the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor doing primary duty, a 16MP sensor for ultra-wide shots and a 2MP sensor for macro shots.
With the main sensor, images are crisp, clear and full of colour. In well-lit, outdoor scenarios pictures are about as good as you can get from a smartphone these days. HDR is well balanced, details come through clearly, and shadows have a nice softness to them.
Even in mixed lighting conditions, the main sensor balances darker areas pretty decently, without blowing out the highlights.
Portrait images came out quite nicely, with accurate edge detection, and good HDR.
In low-light scenarios, the main sensor carries forward OnePlus' strong night photography chops, with good colour accuracy, ample detail and overall pleasing results. Shadows are boosted just enough, with light sources and brighter areas being managed intelligently.
The 16MP ultra-wide sensor performs well in well-lit situations, offering quite a lot of detail and good colour accuracy. What's surprising is that there's not a whole lot of difference in colour reproduction between the ultra-wide and main sensor, except that I noticed slightly higher contrast levels in ultra-wide shots. In low-light conditions, this sensor needs all the help it gets from the Night Mode processing, but once processed, results look pretty decent.
The 2MP macro sensor unfortunately seems like an afterthought, and results from it look over-sharpened and lack colour accuracy and depth. If you really want up-close shots, I would suggest using the main sensor at 2X for better results.
When it comes to videos, the 9RT is actually quite impressive. In outdoor situations, there was good colour reproduction, minimal frame stutter and ample detail on offer. What impressed me more was how well it handled auto-exposure in mixed lighting conditions indoors, something that's quite challenging for any smartphone. In fact, in this test clip against the Galaxy S21+ and iPhone 12, you can see for yourself how much more composed the 9RT was with respect to exposure and white-balance.
All this is further enhanced with optical image stabilisation on the main sensor, which ensures shake-free footage, even at 4K 60fps, which is the highest this phone will shoot.

<h3>Front Camera</h3>
The selfie camera on the 9RT is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor, and it performed quite well in outdoor situations, managing highlights well even on bright, sunny days. Selfies taken indoors came out decently too, with good colours and just about enough detail. In low-light situations, there was a visible lack of detail and quite a bit of noise, but the Night Mode improved things significantly the moment I turned it on.
Portrait pictures taken with the front camera featured strong edge detection and good colour overall, but there was a noticeable tendency to blow out highlights.
It is worth noting though, that the front camera can't shoot 4K videos, which is something I wish OnePlus had provided at this price point.
<h3>Performance</h3>
When it comes to performance, there's really nothing you can fault on the OnePlus 9RT. It gets a Snapdragon 888 chipset, and 12GB RAM on this model, which is more than enough to crunch through absolutely any task. Multi-tasking and app-switching is an absolute breeze, and there's no day-to-day task that this phone can't handle.
While gaming on graphic heavy titles like Call of Duty: Mobile, there's no real dropped frames or lag, even at the very highest graphic settings. Even when playing for long periods of time, the 9RT didn't get very hot to the touch, which is good to see. The Game Assistant is also quite useful, with quick access to the Pro-gaming mode, voice modulator and touch-optimisation settings.
The 9RT also gets 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage on the model I have with me, but if you need more, you will have to rely on Cloud storage or an OTG drive.
It's worth mentioning that unlike the <a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.editorji.com/story/oneplus-9-review-it-s-better-than-you-think-1617448334197" target="_blank">OnePlus 9</a> and 9 Pro, the 9RT gets support for a wide variety of 5G bands, so it's good to see the company respond positively to prior criticism.

<h3>Software</h3>
Now software on OnePlus phones has become a bit of a contentious point, with both fans and critics unhappy with the way OxygenOS has taken on more of ColorOS ever since the merger between the two firms.
I will say this though, that for most users, OxygenOS is still a very neat and clean skin to use with big bright buttons, plenty of minimal touches and very little bloatware, all of which make it stand out from other smartphone makers. There's plenty of customisation options for the Ambient Display and the rest of the UI, along with previous halo features like the Canvas AOD.
I'll admit that it is a bit disappointing to see this phone ship with Android 11 out of the box, but I'm hoping OnePlus course corrects in the future with respect to software updates.
<h3>Utility</h3>
The OnePlus 9RT gets all the expected forms of utility we've seen previously from the brand, like good stereo speakers and that signature alert slider. There's no wireless charging, which isn't surprising, but still feels like something that should have been included at this price point by a company that's known to offer out-of-segment features. Another miss is the lack of an IP rating, something that buyers have begun to expect when spending this kind of cash.
Still, it's good to see that the in-display fingerprint scanner OnePlus uses is as fast as ever.

When it comes to battery life, the 9RT was honestly really impressive, I got on average around 7 hours of screen on time with moderate to heavy usage, with 120Hz and the Ambient Display both turned on.
With mild to moderate usage, you'll easily last more than a day with the 4,500mAh unit, but even if you run out of juice, the 9RT gets 65W Warp Charge 65T. It was quick enough to get me from 1% to 100% in under 30 minutes, which is really impressive.

So if you've got around 45-50,000 rupees to spend on a phone, and you just want something that offers top-notch hardware, look no further than the OnePlus 9RT. With flagship specs, a clean interface and surprisingly impressive camera performance, this is pretty much as good as it gets.

The trademark filing, which has been spotted by tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/stufflistings/status/1619690264196681729/photo/1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mukul Sharma</a>, suggests that internal testing of at least one of these devices has begun in several regions, including Europe.&nbsp;
OnePlus has not released a foldable phone yet, however, its foldables devices may be inspired by sister-company Oppo&rsquo;s Find N2 series.&nbsp;

The leak also suggests that the OnePlus 11R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.&nbsp;
