A viral video shows students of Oklahoma's Deer Creek School licking peanut butter off toes. Authorities launched an investigation.

Oklahoma authorities cracked down on a local high school, which allegedly organised a competition where young students licked peanut butter off their peers&rsquo; toes. A now-viral video shows at least four children lying on their stomach and licking feet while the crowd cheers.
While the Oklahoma State Department of Education is investigating the bizarre incident, the school continues to receive backlash from netizens and US politicians.
Oklahoma State Superintendent announced the probe. &ldquo;This is disgusting. We are cleaning up this filth in Oklahoma schools. Our agency is investigating,&rdquo; he said in a social media post.
Students of the Deer Creek School District reportedly volunteered in the Clash of Classes assembly. The New York Post reported that students in grade 9th through 12th were part of the tournament.
While the viral video garnered more than 2.7 million views, the incident was reportedly applauded by the competition. It was reportedly a part of the Wonderful Week of Fundraising event, which raised more than $150,000.
&ldquo;We want to stress to our community that much of the information accompanying this video is inaccurate. However, through this specific game we failed to uphold the dignity of our students and the proud image of our community,&rdquo; the school district said in a statement.

Anderson committed the crime in February 2021, weeks after being released from prison in a pardon programme. A grand jury probe later found that his name had erroneously been added to the list of prisoners to be released.
