Days after a pregnant black woman was shot dead by a US cop in Ohio, Police have released the bodycam footage of the fatal shooting.
The video shows a cop shooting a pregnant black woman who reportedly refused to leave her car. The incident happened on August 24, and the woman, 21-year-old Ta'Kiya Young, passed away after being shot inside her car. The police were talking to her about a reported theft incident, as reported by the New York Times.&nbsp;
In the video shared by the Blendon Township Police Department, the woman is seen sitting in her black car. An officer keeps asking her to "get out of the car." She then asks why she should do that and says, "I'm not going to do that." The officer tells her, "They said you stole stuff, do not leave." Ms. Young responds, "I didn't do anything wrong, the other girls were taking things."
The video further shows a woman trying to speed up, and just then one of the cops standing in front of her car fires a shot.
Ta'Kiya Young and her unborn child could not survive the gunshot and died inside the car, the cops said, adding they tried to save both.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, Young's grieving family has issued a statement and termed the shooting as a misuse of power.&nbsp;

Thirteen people were taken to hospitals after an explosion at a metal factory near Oakwood, Ohio, according to Captain Brian DiRocco with the Oakwood Village Fire Department.
The explosion and fire occurred around 3 p.m. Monday and left debris scattered around the area, DiRocco said.
Several fire departments responded to a large fire at the scene and one person was confirmed dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined according to DiRocco. &ldquo;The interior of the building, it&rsquo;s pretty catastrophic, like right now, we were working this morning with a structural engineer to see where it was safe for us to conduct our investigation. They gave us some parameters on where we could and couldn&rsquo;t go within the building but the damage is pretty extensive. &ldquo; he said.

On 3 February, the Norfolk Southern Train derailed in the area while transporting cargo from Madison, Illinois to Conway, Pennsylvania. 38 bogeys went off the track, causing a fire which damaged another 12 wagons. 11 of the derailed bogeys were carrying hazardous materials, including vinyl chloride, butyl acrylate and other chemicals.
Nearby residents were evacuated for 5 days. Air and water quality continue to be monitored in the area.

Police said the shots were fired behind the Whitmer High School stadium in Toledo at about 9:30 pm Friday during the game with Central Catholic High School.
A Whitmer student and two adults were wounded, said Washington Local Schools spokesperson Katie Peters.
“Last night was a terrible and traumatic event," Police Chief George Kral, Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz and Superintendent Kadee Anstadt said in a joint statement. “Thankfully ... all three victims sustained only minor injuries, and they will all be OK.” Despite earlier reports that two people had been taken into custody, police said Saturday that no arrests had been made. Police said surveillance video “has already been helpful in identifying the potential target" and the investigation continues.
Dispatchers told responding police that witnesses reported two people in black ski masks firing shots and a vehicle then speeding away, the Toledo Blade reported. Play was halted with less than seven minutes remaining as police and fire crews converged on the stadium, the newspaper reported.
“No guests were injured in the evacuation and we could not be prouder of our students, staff, Whitmer fans, and our guests from Central Catholic,” Peters said. Spectators had been scanned with a metal wand for weapons before entry and 16 law enforcement officers were working the game.
After the three victims were found near the football field house, they were treated by emergency crews before being transported to hospitals.
Lisa Gonzalez told the Toledo Blade that she was in the restroom when she heard one shot and she emerged to chaos outside.
“Everyone was screaming, They're shooting, they're shooting,' and we just ran,” she said.
