Hunag also had a fireside chat with Reliance Industries CMD, Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. During this conversation, the Nvidia chief recalled his first meeting with India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Sharing the details of that meeting, Nvidia CEO explained how the meeting left him surprised. Hunag told Ambani, "The thing that I really love, and when I met Modi ji, the first time he asked me to meet his cabinet was to &ndash; this has got to be about six years ago. He asked me to address this cabinet about Artificial Intelligence. And I was so surprised. It was literally the first time any government leader, any national leader asked me to address his cabinet on this particular topic. The shares of Nvidia on Wednesday rallied to record highs. The chip-maker's stock market valuation hit the $3 trillion mark overtaking tech giant Apple as the second most valuable country in the world.
During the wednesday trading Nvidia's stock briefly hit an intra-day record high of $1,223.59, giving it a value of $3.010 trillion at a moment when Apple's stood at about $3.005 trillion

The rally comes as the company prepares to split its stock ten-for-one, effective on June 7, a move that could increase its appeal to individual investors. Meanwhile, Microsoft remains the world's most valuable company with a market value of $3.14 trillion as its shares climbed 1.5%.
As per Reuters, so far in 2024, Nvidia's stock surged 147% as the demand for its top-of-the line processors outstrip the supply. Meanwhile its competitors Microsoft, Meta Platforms and Google-owner Alphabet are working to build out their AI computing capabilities.
Since May 22 when Nvidia announced its stellar revenue forecast, the stock has rallied 30%.
On Wednesday, stocks of AI chip firms went up with the PHLX chip index surging about 4%. Super Micro Computer, which sells AI optimized servers built with Nvidia chips, climbed nearly 5%.

Nvidia profits soar over 600% on AI demand, shares top $1,000

Nvidia's quarterly net profit rocketed by seven times year-on-year on demand

Nvidia said Wednesday its quarterly net profit rocketed by seven times year-on-year on demand for its chips to power artificial intelligence in data centers.
The California-based company reported a net profit of $14.9 billion, while its revenue of $26 billion was almost four times what it took in during the same fiscal quarter last year.
Nvidia also announced a 10-for-one stock split effective June 7 to make owning shares more accessible. Nvidia shares were up nearly six percent to $1,003.50 in after-market trades.
"The next industrial revolution has begun," Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang said in an earnings release.
"Companies and countries are partnering with NVIDIA to shift the trillion-dollar traditional data centers to accelerated computing and build a new type of data center -- AI factories -- to produce a new commodity: artificial intelligence."
Demand was strong for sophisticated GPUs (graphics processing units) tailored for the demands of training AI models, according to Huang.
In a promising sign, interest in generative AI is expanding beyond cloud computing titans to consumer internet, automotive, and healthcare companies as well as nations seeking to build sovereign AI, Huang said.
"Nvidia defies gravity again as AI companies globally continue to depend on its chips, networking hardware, and its software ecosystem," said Emarketer senior analyst Jacob Bourne.
"We can expect that more bold innovative moves from Nvidia will help it maintain its industry position for the foreseeable future."
Huang said he expects demand for Nvidia chips to outstrip supply for some time to come.
"We're racing every single day" with Nvidia chips being snapped up as fast as they are made, according to Huang.

Thanks to the AI boom, Nvidia&rsquo;s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) expanded by more than 500% last quarter on a year-over-year basis. Meanwhile, Amazon and Alphabet grew at about 20% during the same period.&nbsp;
As per Forbes, Nvidia remains among the most popular stocks on Wall Street even after its more than 50% run-up this year, and is a top pick for analysts at both Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, each of which has an $800 price target for Nvidia, implying 8% further upside for the stock.
In the past decade, Nvidia gained 17,000% and remains the the best return of any stock on the S&amp;P 500. Nvidia is set to report earnings next Wednesday for its fiscal quarter ending last month and analysts have predicted record sales and profits for the third consecutive time.

US technology company NVIDIA and billionaire Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries on Friday announced a partnership to build AI supercomputers in India.
"The companies will work together to build AI infrastructure that is over an order of magnitude more powerful than the fastest supercomputer in India today," the firms said in a statement.
Days before the announcement, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. Starting operations in India in 2004, NVIDIA has four engineering development centres in the country - in Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru -with over 3,800 employees.
Its collaboration with Reliance will "develop India's own foundation large language model trained on the nation's diverse languages and tailored for generative AI applications to serve the world's most populous nation," the statement said.
NVIDIA will provide access to the most advanced GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip and DGX Cloud, an AI supercomputing service in the cloud. GH200 marks a fundamental shift in computing architecture that provides exceptional performance and massive memory bandwidth.
"The NVIDIA-powered AI infrastructure is the foundation of the new frontier into AI for Reliance Jio Infocomm, Reliance Industries&rsquo; telecom arm. The global AI revolution is transforming industries and daily life. "To serve India's vast potential in AI, Reliance will create AI applications and services for their 450 million Jio customers and provide energy-efficient AI infrastructure to scientists, developers and startups across India," the statement said.
AI can help rural farmers interact via cell phones in their local language to get weather information and crop prices. It can help provide, at massive scale, expert diagnosis of medical symptoms and imaging scans where doctors may not be immediately available.
AI can better predict cyclonic storms using decades of atmospheric data, enabling those at risk to evacuate and find shelter. "The AI infrastructure will be hosted in AI-ready computing data centers that will eventually expand to 2,000 MW. Execution and implementation will be managed by Jio, which has extensive offerings and experience across mobile telephony, 5G spectrum, fiber networks and more," it said. Huang said NVIDIA is "delighted to partner with Reliance to build state-of-the-art AI supercomputers in India."
"India has scale, data and talent. With the most advanced AI computing infrastructure, Reliance can build its own large language models that power generative AI applications made in India, for the people of India," he said. Jio has broad expertise, infrastructure and engineering skill to roll out and manage the new AI computing infrastructure.
The collaboration with NVIDIA also aligns with its strategy of serving as a large, comprehensive digital, cloud and networking platform for both consumers and business customers. "As India advances from a country of data proliferation to creating technology infrastructure for widespread and accelerated growth, computing and technology super centres like the one we envisage with NVIDIA will provide the catalytic growth just like Jio did to our nation's digital march," said Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries.
His son and chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, Akash Ambani said Jio is committed to fuelling India's technology renaissance by democratizing access to cutting-edge technologies, and the collaboration with NVIDIA is a significant step in this direction. "Together, we will develop a state-of-the-art AI cloud infrastructure that is secure, sustainable and deeply relevant across India, accelerating the nation's journey towards becoming an AI powerhouse," he added.

Graphics chipmaker Nvidia has announced the RTX 3060 Ti, the first and cheapest member of RTX 3060 series graphics cards. It costs ₹35,900 (GST exclusive) and will be available for purchase from December 2.
The entry-level GPU is based on Nvidia's new Ampere architecture and is faster than the previous generation RTX 2080 Super GPU, which had nearly twice the pricing.
Nvidia is targeting the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti towards 1080p and 1440p gaming and supports real-time ray tracing, DLSS as well as NVIDIA&rsquo;s RTX apps.

We played Flight Simulator on a custom PC with the following specs:

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super
RAM: 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Pro 1TB NVMe SSD.
The game was tested at its highest graphics preset and the resolution set to 1440p.

The RTX 3080 reportedly runs twice as fast as the last generation 2080, and in the video, NVIDIA compare the new GPU to the souped-up 2080 Ti. The gameplay video runs in 4K resolution at a framerate that's mostly above 100 fps. The recently launched RTX 3080 card costs $699 in the US, and will available from September 17th.
