Tensions rose in Nuh after three women going for a puja were injured in a stone-pelting incident.

At least three women suffered injuries after some unidentified persons hurled stones at them allegedly from a mosque here on Thursday night, police said.
A police officer said they have not yet received any complaint and added action will be taken as per the law.
According to the police, the incident took place near a mosque around 8:20 pm when a group of women were on the way for a 'kuan (well) poojan'.
When they reached near the mosque, stones were allegedly pelted at them, the police said, adding three women were injured in the incident.
Nuh Superintendent of Police Narender Bijarniya, along with a huge police force, reached the spot.
Though Bijarniya did not respond to calls, Nuh police station SHO Ombeer said they have not got any complaints yet.
"We got to know about injuries to the women but have not received any complaint yet. Action will be taken as per the law," the SHO said.
Tension gripped the area following the incident, which took place months after six people, including two home guards and a cleric, died in communal clashes that erupted here when the Vishva Hindu Parishad's Braj Mandal Yatra was attacked by a mob on July 31.

Congress MLA Mamman Khan who was arrested on September 14 for alleged involvement in the violence that broke out in Haryana's Nuh on July 31 only found out he is an accused in the case when he moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court asking for a Special Investigation Team probe.&nbsp;
Khan was named an accused in an FIR lodged after the Nuh violence, the Haryana government had told the High Court on Thursday, also claiming that the police have phone call records and other evidence to back the charges.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had addressed the Mamman Khan case at a press conference in Chandigarh on Wednesday. "If during investigations he is found involved then he will not be spared," he had said.
Haryana's Additional Advocate General Deepak Sabharwal told the High Court that Khan was named an accused on September 4 after the evidence against him was evaluated. There was "ample evidence" against him, he later told reporters on Thursday.

Officials said police and paramilitary forces have been deployed to keep a strict vigil while security at inter-state and inter-district borders has also been tightened.
As a precautionary measure, the Nuh district administration has already ordered the closure of educational institutions and banks on Monday, suspended mobile Internet and bulk SMS services, and imposed prohibitory orders in the communally-sensitive district.
It has also imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC, preventing the assembly of four or more people in an area, till Monday.

According to police, so far 61 FIRs have been registered and 286 accused arrested in connection with the communal clashes that erupted in Nuh when the Vishva Hindu Parishad's Braj Mandal Yatra was attacked by a mob on July 31.
Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, died in the communal clashes.
Late Wednesday night, the Nuh police arrested Osama after a brief encounter near Ujina canal drain.
A search operation was launched following inputs that the bike-borne accused was headed to Ali Meo village from Ferozpur Namak.
When police tried to intercept Osama, he opened fire at them and in retaliatory firing, he suffered a bullet injury in his leg. He was nabbed and placed under arrest, police said.
A country-made pistol, one cartridge and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession, police said.
Nuh Police spokesperson Krishna Kumar said the arrested accused, Osama, was wanted in Nalhar arson. He is being treated at Nalhar medical College.

A 'mahapanchayat' by Hindu outfits at Pondri village in Haryana's Palwal on Sunday announced that they will "resume" on August 28 the VHP's Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh that was disrupted after communal violence in July.
At the 'Sarva Jatiye Mahapanchayat', participants from Palwal, Gurugram and other nearby places took part, and it was decided that the yatra will resume from Nalhar in Nuh and then pass through Firozpur Jhirka's Jhir and Singar temples in the district.
In Nuh, four battalions of central forces should be deployed permanently, VHP leader from Gurugram Devender Singh said, giving details of the decisions taken at the mahapanchayat.
The mahapanchayat was originally planned to be held in Nuh district's Kira village but permission was denied for it in view of the prevailing law and order situation.
Permission for the event was given in Palwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (headquarters), Palwal, Sandeep Mor said on Sunday.
Palwal and Nuh are adjoining districts.
The mahapanchayat was held under the banner of 'Sarv Hindu Samaj', in which Hindu outfits including the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) took part.
Police said permission for a limited gathering has been allowed and strict action will be taken if anyone makes any kind of hate speech.

Financial institutions in Nuh, Tauru, Punhana, Ferozepur Jhirka, Pingawan and municipal corporation areas will open for a short window on Monday, the official said.
According to an order issued by District Magistrate Dhirender Khadgata on Sunday, it has been decided to open banks and ATMs on August 7 on a trial basis. Financial transactions in banks will take place from 11 am to 2 pm while ATMs will be open till 3 pm.
Government offices will also function smoothly on August 7. Employees can enter their workplaces by showing their identity cards. Normality is returning in the district and the situation is under control, Khadgata said.
In addition, a free bus service were provided to CET examination centres in five districts -- Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Karnal, Hisar and Panipat -- on Sunday.
This service will be available for examinees on Monday as well. Five bus services were provided on routes such as Nuh-Alwar-Jaipur, Nuh-Alwar and Nuh-Gurugram.

&ldquo;We have to take a full comprehensive view of the situation. Provocative or false information should not be spread on social media,&rdquo; Prasad said while addressing the media.

An additional chief judicial magistrate of Nuh and her three-year-old daughter had a narrow escape when their car was attacked and set on fire by a mob during the attack on a religious procession in the district, an FIR has revealed.
Anjali Jain, the additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM), and her daughter had to run for their lives on Monday, as the attackers were pelting stones and firing at them, said the FIR registered at City Nuh police station on Tuesday.
The judge, her daughter and staff had to take shelter in a workshop of the old bus stand in Nuh. Later, they were rescued by some advocates.
The FIR was registered against unknown people on the complaint of Tek Chand, who works as a processor server in the court of ACJM, Nuh.
According to the FIR, at around 1 pm on Monday, the ACJM, her three-year-old daughter, and gunman Siyaram went to the SKM Medical College at Nalhar for purchasing medicines in her Volkswagen car. Around 2 pm when they were returning from the medical college, about 100-150 rioters attacked them near the old bus stand on Delhi-Alwar road.
&ldquo;The rioters were pelting stones at them. Some stones hit the car's back glass, and the rioters opened fire in the area. All four of us left the car on the road and ran to save our lives. We hid at a workshop of the old bus stand and later some advocates rescued us. On the next day, when I went to check on the car, I found out that the rioters had torched it,&rdquo; read the FIR.
The FIR was registered under sections 148 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 435 (fire with intent to cause damage), 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Arms Act.

As per India Today, one of the FIR filed in connection with the attack tells how a huge mob of 600-700 people surrounded the police station on July 31, the day clashes broke out.
The mob pelted stones and reportedly yelled, 'burn them alive'--for the cops who were inside.&nbsp;
The FIR further states that even after urging them to maintain peace, the mob continued hurling stones and even started firing at the police station. Several cops were injured and one of the bullets hit a police personnel in the abdomen.&nbsp;
