A hot air balloon hit a power line and crashed onto a busy street at New Mexico's Albuquerque in the United States on Saturday. All five people on board&nbsp;died including the parents of an Albuquerque police officer, police said. The multi-colored balloon had skirted the top of the power lines, sending at least one dangling and temporarily knocking out power to more than 13,000 homes, said police. The gondola caught fire and fell about 100 feet.

A hot air balloon hit a power line and crashed onto a busy street in US' New Mexico on Saturday.
All five people on board&nbsp;died including the parents of a police officer.
Four of them were pronounced dead at the scene, and the fifth person died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The basket fell about 30 metres and caught fire after crashing on a street while the balloon floated off and reached the ground elsewhere, as per the Federal Aviation Administration.
The crash resulted in power being cut off temporarily to more than 13,000 homes in the area.

The mission will have two test pilots aboard, that will take off aboard the vehicle from Spaceport America in New Mexico. Virgin Galactic hopes to fly company founder Sir Richard Branson into space by sometime in the first quarter of 2021.
