I am confident that a large number of devotees will come here in the coming times. This will also increase the number of people coming to UAE and people-to-people connections will also increase," he said after inaugurating the ceremony.

She also said India is a &ldquo;very important&rdquo; part of her life and that she is deeply connected to the country.
&ldquo;The history and teachings in India and of India have not only influenced me, they, of course, have shaped the entire globe,&rdquo; Harris said in her address at a luncheon hosted by her and Secretary of State Antony Blinken in the honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
&ldquo;Throughout history, India has inspired millions of people around the world, whether through philosophy and theology, the power of civil disobedience, or the commitment to democracy,&rdquo; she said.
Harris, during her remarks, recalled her journeys to India when she was a child.
&ldquo;When my sister Maya and I were growing up, our mother would take us from the Bay Area to India pretty much every other year. The purpose of those trips were many, including that we would well understand where she came from, what produced her; so that we could spend time with our grandparents, with my uncle and our chittis; and to really understand the love of good idli,&rdquo; she said amidst laughter.

Senior diplomats of India and Ukraine are exploring the possibility of a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, PTI has reported quoting sources.
If the meeting takes place, then it will be the first one between the two leaders after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February last year.
The Ukrainian president is attending the summit following an invitation by Japan, the current chair of the powerful grouping.
PM Modi is in Hiroshima to attend three sessions at the G7 summit as part of his three-nation tour that will also take him to Papua New Guinea and Australia.
