Chappell Roan is a rising pop-star but no exception to the challenges that come with popularity. The singer opened up about the problematic creepy behaviour and harassment by calling out &lsquo;entitled fans&rsquo; and stalkers. &nbsp;
The 26-year-old young star posted two clips on TikTok, talking about the harassment that she has been receiving recently. Roan said that she and her family are being stalked, harassed and shouted at in public for refusing hugs or photos. &nbsp;
She asked whether it is okay to harass a woman in public and harass or bully her if she declines to give a photo. She said that she doesn&rsquo;t care if it&rsquo;s selfish to decline photos or hugs. &nbsp;
Roan is one of the artists lined up to perform at MTV VMAs 2024. The pop star and drag queen shot to fame after her debut album &lsquo;The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess&rsquo;, which stands at No. 3 on Billboard 200, right behind Taylor Swift&rsquo;s TTPD and Kanye West&rsquo;s &lsquo;Vultures 2&rsquo;.

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards have been delayed by a day. The decision has been taken to avoid a clash with the upcoming US presidential debate. &nbsp;
Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris will participate in a debate on September 10. Interest is significantly higher in the first Trump-Harris debate. Hence, MTV has decided to postpone the date of the 2024 VMAs from September 10 to September 11 to avoid the clash. &nbsp;
Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello and GloRilla are among the artists performing at the awards. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift leads the nominations for the awards with 10 nods. BTS member Jungkook is also among the list of nominated artists. &nbsp;

The 2023 edition of MTV Video Music Awards was held in New Jersey on September 12. Taylor Swift was the big winner at the event with 9 wins, including the top award of the night Video of the Year for &lsquo;Anti-Hero.&rsquo;
What shocked the audience was that the MTV VMAs didn&rsquo;t announce some of the most prestigious categories including &lsquo;Artist of the Year&rsquo; and &lsquo;Album of the Year&rsquo; during its televised premiere.
The VMAs ended with Taylor Swift winning &lsquo;Video of the Year&rsquo; but the awards show didn&rsquo;t announce the winners from 13 other categories including Song of the Summer, Group of the Year, Best Alternative, Best Rock, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing and Show of the Summer.
When the show ended abruptly, fans took to X to express their disappointment.
One user wrote, &lsquo;To not announce album of the year and artist of the year DURING the show was one of the stupidest things that could&rsquo;ve done.&rsquo; Another one said, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t get why they wouldn&rsquo;t at least announce artist of the year and album of the year live?&rsquo;
Besides Taylor Swift, other winners of the night included Shakira with the Video Vanguard Award as well as Best Duo alongside Karol G for their song &lsquo;TQG.&rsquo; Host Nicki Minaj won the Best Hip-Hop trophy for &lsquo;Super Freaky Girl.&rsquo;

Taylor Swift, who was the most nominated artist of the year with a whopping 11 nods, made VMAs history as she took home the &lsquo;Video of the Year&rsquo; award for &lsquo;Anti-Hero&rsquo;, making her the first artist to win four times. She also won the Song of the Year award.
Boy band NSYNC reunited on stage after 13 years to present the first award for Best Pop Video, which also went to Taylor Swift.
Nicki Minaj won the VMAs award for Best Hip-Hop for her song &lsquo;Super Freaky Girl&rsquo;. Rema and Selena Gomez won the award for Best Afrobeats for their hit track &lsquo;Calm Down&rsquo;. They won the first-ever Afrobeats award at the VMAs.
Shakira received the Video Vanguard Award and performed an incredible bilingual medley of her decades of hits.
