Located in the Karakorum Mountain range, K2 is one of the most dangerous climbs. K2 has harsh conditions &ndash; winds can blow at more than 200 kilometres per hour (124 miles per hour) and temperatures can drop to minus 60C (minus 76 Fahrenheit).
"The K2 is a savage mountain. I faced many hardships. I was without a porter, I carried all my equipment and luggage. The Nepali sherpas helped me a lot, the Pakistani management also helped me", said Kashif.
